Re: Far Cry 3
i try to find a good vantage point, then look through my camera and tag all the enemies (and look for the alarm of course). then i'll sneak around, throw rocks to distract guards and work my way towards the alarm, disable it, then i raise havoc.Cardinals

To disable them you just interact with them like anything else? I have tried but without success. The interact thing is so darn touchy. And if I do this with one, they are then all disabled?

Re: Far Cry 3
Tag, use rocks to turn heads, use silent kills w/ knife and or arrows.
I got all the camps on the first island with no alarms raised or being spotted.
I also unlocked the bow perks quick and silent kill drags to hide bodies.5Comment

Re: Far Cry 3
Sometimes there are multiple alarms. If you shoot one it does not disable the other one. I always go in and disable them.Joshua:

Re: Far Cry 3
In some camps there are 2 alarms...the main one (which should be your target) and a secondary one.
If you just disable the secondary alarm, the pirates can still activate the main one for reinforcements....BUT,if you disable the main one, then no reinforcements.
The confusion comes in because you don't know which one is the "main" alarm,so there is a bit of guessing involved.People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

I will see if I can find it,but I distinctly remember it being said that disabling only 1 alarm (if it's not the main one) will still allow the pirates to call in reinforcements.People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

Re: Far Cry 3
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Seeing as how it tells you once you disable one, "All alarms disabled" or something along those lines.
You sure you're not just talking about shooting one alarm?
Because I know if you shoot the alarms you have to do them all individually. But straight up disabling them (interacting with them) turns them all off in every instance for me.Last edited by 13; 12-15-2012, 09:07 PM.Celtics Bruins Sox Eagles Liverpool

Re: Far Cry 3
I love the survival feeling to this game. Best moment so far was during the mission where i had to collect some plants and kill two boars. One of the plants was under the water so i go under water to get the plant and out of nowhere i get attacked by a crockadile, i jumped out my seat! I was not expecting that at all. Loving this game.Last edited by ghettogeeksta; 12-16-2012, 08:10 AM.Comment
