Bow is only good for the 1st half of the game to be honest. Second half of the game you face way more enemies wearing heavy armored body suites with helmets. Bow and majority of weapons do no damage against them, you can't even kill them with a stab.

I'm on the other island now and these guys are armed to the teeth, 1st island weapons are useless. Now I have to start all over again acquiring these new powerful weapons that unlock on the new island.

For outposts with Heavy guys you talk about I try and wipe out all the others with a bow, sniper, or takedowns, and then I use takedowns on the Heavy guys. I got the perk that lets you do that, otherwise I use grenades or something on heavy guys.

Hmm...I'll enjoy the first island as long as I can then It's been really fun liberating it and exploring, and I like the story so far too.

Just wait until you get to the outposts that have guard dogs roving the perimeter and guards with RPGs and 50 cal sniper rifles in the towers. Yeah, fun times....You definitely have to pick them off from a far. As far as enemies go far as sheer firepower and defenses......

I almost have all the Towers activated on the North Island BUT I'm only at the Logging Camp part of the Story... Will I be able to access the South Island? I want to get those Towers as well.

Throwing C4/strapping it to vehicles is never not fun in video games. Far Cry 3 proves this out once again.

The only thing I don't have yet is the bow. What mission unlocks that?

I love how I literally don't have to spend ANY money to get weapons. Most of mine have come from doing those hunting missions.

IIRC,you get the bow after climbing 3 of the towers and unlocking parts of the island that show up on your map.

So I finally came across a part of the game where the game FORCE YOU to go down a specific path. It was the weirdest thing ever because it is 2 different ways to get to that point. However unless you go down the path the game wants you to go, the ladder will not appear. Game is a blast though, nearing the end of it, currently on mission 33 or 34.

The radio towers are kind of annoying though. Reminds me of the templar towers in the Assassin Creed series.

Just beat the game. Very fun ride, I felt the ending was very corny though.

Just bought the game and I'm loving it but a damn crocodile scared me to death in the first mission.

I was walking by some water and saw an npc get attacked by a crocodile. It was hilarious.
