Finally beat the story today after having it for awhile. Took a break from it

after killing Vaas. Was pretty disappointed with how they handled that.

I was also disappointed with the way Hoyt was taken out. They didn't handle either villain fight very well imo. I picked to save my friends Guessing I made the right choice since it was pretty clear that Citra is nuts.

Loved everything else about the game for the most part. I decided to have fun taking out the last outpost by throwing C4 at everyone .

Just got this game and WOW. A lot to take in at first glance. Any tips or recommendations for a newbie? Should I just keep progress straight through the story or are there other things to do to help along the way? I've already delivered some medical supplies which only got me a few hundred bucks. Also have unlocked two radio towers. Got me a free skorpion but who needs that when you get an AK immediately?

don't buy weapons.. ever. unlocking radio towers = free weapons. have some fun, kill some animals to make some weapon/ammo pouches. i would generally do one mission per 3-5 side quests. it seemed to flow pretty nicely. GREAT game.

Really? Interesting cuz I seem to have more cash than I know what to do with. Did throw a silencer in my pistol tho.. This game is verrrry in depth. It's like a modern Assassins Creed.

I agree with you about the boss fights. I loved the game and the enemy A.I.

I don't understand why Jason didn't kill him when he first met him. There were no guards in the room and Hoyt didn't have any weapons on him.

Update will allow you to reset all outposts once you've cleared them all and beaten the game.

Would make it fun to go back and clear them all again with full weapons and do it different ways.

Yeah, I used cash mostly to buy add-ons for weapons.. and ammo.

I hate how in co-op, that if you play w/ only 2 guys, that during the cut scenes it shows all 4 of the co-op characters. I was hoping the other remaining characters would've been controlled by the CPU, something like in Left 4 Dead.

Otherwise, don't show the entire squad in the cutscenes... kind of dumb, but a minor complaint for an otherwise fantastic game.
