The patch has screwed my controllers right stick sensitivity as it is warp speed and nothing I have done in the calibration menu has slowed it down. I have tried new profile, recalibration of the controller, etc. only thing left to do is to reinstall the drivers for the controller, but I am sure that will not work as all other games work fine besides Arma.

I would of assumed it was a profile issue, so I'm surprised that creating a new one did not fix it. I will do some searching if others having same issue.

ok cause looks like someone else was having a similar issue but with a joystick and moving from USB 3.0 to USB 2.0 corrected the issue but this was from like 2013.

I just seen two other reports on the Arma site for the sensitivity issue, so pretty sure it is a patch thing now. Will try to reinstall controller drivers after work, but I'm guessing this will not be a fix on my end....

No luck. One idea is to use Xpadder as it does have a sensitivity adjustment and I could map the same controls to it as the Arma 3 settings use for the control configuration.

I don't think im fooling around until there is a fix... it's bad enough using a controller.

Keyboard and Mouse is the way to go anyway. :P Inb4 Arma 3 devs intentionally sabotaged the Controller users.

In all seriousness it sucks but it really isnt that hard to use the mouse and keyboard and this is coming from a pure Controller user until Arma 3.

They did it just to piss me off. I agree keyboard is way to go, but I'm getting too old for new tricks as I can use keyboard for most other genres, but for shooters, I have to have the controller for the movement more than anything. I actually had it going well with my combo of keyboard and controller till the update. Going to download Xpadder after work and see if it will get me back to square one.

Like I have said all along using a controller in arms does not put you at a disadvantage. Use xpadder and I can give you my control config if you would like. You still need your keyboard for a few things but mostly are fine with controller.

That's pretty much what i did with Arma II.. didnt use Xpadder tho

Xpadder fixed the sensitivity issue, so I am back in business. Now if these mods can be straightened out by the community we all will be set.

In PvP, you will be. No way you can aim as fast and accurate with a controller as someone with a mouse. No matter how much you might think you can, the precision cannot be had.

I will humbly disagree with you on this. This game is not a twitch shooter which actually makes it very easy to do well with a controller when playing PVP.
