I've been scouring the internet trying to find a used Track IR 5, but after seeing that ARMA 3 supports Oculus Rift, I might wait on the CV1 in early 2016!!

1 to 1 head moving inside of this play ground would feel real lol.

I'm sure it will probably support the other platforms that will be out prior. Rift is positioning itself really poorly IMO unless Facebook is going to heavily subsidized it to make price a big deal.

Coming out after the valve platform debuts and after a CES that will surely be a big peek at what's coming soon after Rift, not a good release window, they have to hate missing a holiday season too.

I'm in for a VR helmet myself once they're closer to being released and compatibility is better known.

Personally I have no desire for the Morpheus, the VR I go with will need to be PC focused. Vive and Rift will most likely be the two battling for my dollar and that will depend on many factors, most importantly PC requirements. If a $400 VR headset requires a $500 video card I doubt I go that route.

The Vive interest me the most because its steam and who doesn't like steam , but i do believe the Rift will have the more stable launch since its been in production for a while now.

Vive is the first of many though on Valve's platform, with 'the many' probably coming at CES in some form. I'm kinda hopeful that Rift will concede that potential fight and be just as compatible as any other Valve-based headset rather than inciting a platform war on a niche market.

I have low expectations from Morpheus, from a price and compatibility perspective. A lot of room to surprise me there but expecting it naturally to be PlayStation focused.

Base platform for the Rift is a GTX 970.

Sick twisted gangsters who want to rule by fear is all they are. I just hope game developers don't start locking down modding based on this type of blow back, at the end of the day its a video game. Kids should be taught by their parents what is acceptable and morally right, so no matter if some nut job on a game mic wants to try and "recruit" them, they have enough sense to tell them to go see "72 virgins" by putting a bullet in their head. Sadly common sense is going away.
