Did you guys ever try Antistasi?
Literally been playing it the last couple of weeks with a few friends. I have thousands of hours on ArmA but I've actually been enjoying Antistasi quite a lot.. Which is saying a lot given I've tried nearly every mission or mod out there.

We attacked a small russian airfield tonight, about 50 strong, a few Mi-8's, and patrols scattered amongst the valleys. Nothing quite matches the experience ArmA provides when you are running across fields with rounds pinging past your head and mortars landing next to you.

There is just two of us. I don't know if we are just terrible or what, but after 25ish hours in we've only taken one airfield, 2-3 outposts, and 3 towns. Plus we have a power plant and radio tower under our control. Most of that has happened the last two nights. The first week consisted of us taking the power plant, then losing it. Taking a town near the HQ, then losing it. We've just now hit a spot where we're holding onto what we take. However, CSAT and the Russians have been attacking more frequently and it's a pain to hold them off. Thankfully NATO sends in help automatically without draining any of our resources.

One of the nights we played had a 75 minute attack for us to get the power plant, then we literally held on against another attack for just under 2 hours. It was intense and took all over our night. I had fun. I had no idea going into the night that we'd spend 3 hours in one big battle for a power plant. That was also coincidentally the last battle at the power plant as we've kept it since and they keep attacking our airfield nearby instead. That's what makes this game and this mod special. You can have encounters like that that just take it out of you in a good way. It's incredibly to fight that long and to survive.

I wish others from our group played, but this game is too slow/realistic for their tastes which I get. For us two, though, it's great. Tonight we just spend 30 minutes lying prone on a mountain side attacking a small Russian base. All I did was spot the entire time and had a blast. We got mortared and weren't able to take the base tonight, but that's life in ARMA.

People around here still playing this? I've been dipping my feet back into the Arma 3 waters so to speak over the past couple days.

Anyone here play mostly singleplayer that can recommend some scenarios/missions or a scenario generator? I don't have a group of friends that play ARMA so playing SP is really my depth of experience with the game minus some random KotH matches every now and again.

Drew aka AuburnAlumni, hit him up, he is addicted to Arma 3

He does scenarios, mods unis, scripts, etc. He is one of the biggest Arma 3 content creators I know.

^^ That, I get messages on Steam all of the time from him showing all of the things he's created. I may not reply, AA, but I see them and I check them out.

Since this is bumped, Jay Crowe has left Arma 3 and Bohemia Interactive.

I've recently been getting into a lot of PC shooters. I didn't realize how good you guys had it on this platform when it comes to that genre, I'm in shooter heaven right now. I recently picked up the ARMA 3 Humble Bundle and I love this game. I understand why so many people have mentioned it in the past.

I doubt I dip my feet into competitive multiplayer anytime soon, but the campaign itself is a lot of fun. I needed a game with long, realistic missions and this more than does the job. The mod support for different scenarios looks pretty crazy too, so I'm sure this one will be in my rotation for a long time.

Holy cow! We finally did it.

Antistasi completed with only 3 people. It only took 150+ hours.
