Stuff you might've missed: Vanquish,Folklore,Enslaved,Mafia II and Splatterhouse. I'd say Bayonetta if you've got a 360 but it looks like you've only got a PS3.

I did play Enslaved and loved it. I wasn't a fan of Mass Effect 2 believe it or not. Too much interaction...

Good topic. I can't stand FPS at all. So definitely still stuck in the past with our 3rd Person POV. I wish more devs would realize that the FPS market is oversaturated, and go another direction.

I've kind of grown out of the FPS phase. After Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 1, I just didn't see the need to go get the newest edition. I do wanna pick up the newer ones, but for the single player campaign. I really liked the story CODMW1 had going and would like to see where they took it.

But FPS's are limited because of the view. It's pretty much limited to shooters, while 3rd person you can have the shooter element, adventure, action, story, mystery, puzzle, etc. It's a lot more versatile and a better 1-player experience, while still stacking up well as a multiplayer game.

Is Alice really a game you should pay money for? didn't it review pretty poorly? I'm looking into all of these suggestions for PC.

yeah Darksiders is a lot of fun, can be pretty difficult at times too. Very similar to Zelda if Hyrule went to hell and back, lol.

I liked Enslaved as well, that game was very good IMO despite not getting much praise.
