It is a lot of fun. XBLA needs more games like it, IMO. I'm hopeful that TL2 eventually comes to the Arcade as well.

The developers said already that torchlight 2 will be released on xbla as well with the multiplayer and everything.

The developers said already that torchlight 2 will be released on xbla as well with the multiplayer and everything.

Unfortunately it seems like the XBLA size limit will kill this . The devs have said that they've been designing a console interface, much like the first game had on the 360, but would have to develop the game again, specifically for the XBLA.

Actually it's a memory issue, not the size.

Really? I always thought that MS had a hard size limit when it came to XBLA games. Torlichlight visually lagged a couple times during big fights with lots of spells flying, but nothing too major.

Yeah, XBL does have a size limit but that isn't what all the articles are talking about. I actually thought the same thing you did at first. Even the URL makes it sound like it's the file size ffs.

If you look right at the top they updated it to clarify that it's a memory (RAM) issue.

I think the size limit for XBLA games now is 2 GB

Just beat this tonight. What a fine game, just wish it had multiplayer. I know the sequel will, but this game would've been so much more fun to run through coop. I beat it as the barbarian, eventually I'll probably run through it again as one of the other two classes.
