Issue with Capturing Stills

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this post. If it's not I apologize.

I have an ATI 9700 AIW Pro video card. I run my Xbox through it in TV mode because my wife banned me from the tv downstairs I have been using my software that came with my video card to take still shots of some of the S.I. covers I get throughout my Dynasties. The problem is it works for a few pictures than stops. The only way I have found to get it to work again is to reboot. It usually stops working after I have stopped doing the stills and played the game for a bit then came back again to do the stills.

I know this is a long shot but I figured maybe someone else has come across this and knows a work-around or fix. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

you should be able to play games on your monitor with any AIW. I use to make vids and stills with one...

I now have a TV Wonder which is cheaper and does the same thing.

I also have an AIW and use it to capture footage and stills from my Xbox... but mine works fine. So I know it's not a software bug... (unless you haven't got the most recently released drivers and MMC? ... they came out a couple weeks ago only).

Other than that, maybe a background prog is causing conflict... I don't know with this, but I know audio progs cause conflict with their tv software, maybe other combinations do similar.

Also, what setting do you use? Capture to File or Capture to Gallery... the default is Gallery....but I use File.
Maybe the Gallery can't handle so many pics or something.

I use gallery so I will try file. Well actually I think it goes to gallery and file both so maybe thats my problem. I will try it tonight after work. Thank you for the input! I will let you know my results.
