Does anyone know if you can create a party with 8 members and go into matchmaking against each other?

I haven't done this in a long time, but I thought you could do that in previous versions of Halo. It could be fun to do 8 OSer's vs 8 randoms in BTB. However, to switch it up we could always play 4 v 4 in matchmaking as well. I know we could create custom games, but I always thought it was better to go into random matchmaking games.

Max party counts are as follows:

Infinity Slayer: 8 Players
Big Team Infinity Slayer: 16 Players
Dominion: 12 Players
Regicide: 6 Players
Flood: 10 Players
CTF: 10 Players
Oddball: 10 Players
King of the Hill: 10 Players
Team Slayer Pro: 8 Players

Perfect, I always enjoy the matchmaking over custom games. This way we will always have even numbers, although some of us will be split up. However, it saves time because we don't have to discuss what map we want to play/gametype. Everything would be done in matchmaking.

My gamestop wont be opening until 9am tomorrow. Thankfully with it being winter work has slowed down and im off tomorrow which will allow me to go pick it up at midnight. I havent decided if i want to head to gamestop and reserve it before they close tonight, or simply go pick it up from meijer/walmart at midnight. Like i said in the other thread, i hate dealing with the ignorant people at the midnight releases so ill probably just head to meijer a little after midnight. None of the things you receive for pre-ordering really interest me too much, dont have any effect on the actual gameplay of the game (like getting a weapon you can only use if you pre-order and such), so im thinking meijer or walmart it is for me.

And maybe a few of you all can help...whats the best budget headset out there? The little one broke mine about a month back and i havent gotten around to picking a new one up, a headset is a must for Halo. Basically only game i play that isnt a sports game, which sports games i really dont like using headsets on.

Nope not too late here. You can pre order the game up til the time gamestop closes at 9. They re open at 12 for the release.

I've done this so many times. The gamestop guys always give me a hard time when I do saying one of these days they wont get enough copies.

Sorry for double post can't edit in mobile view. But yeah, I just preordered it. There's already ppl up there waiting lol, its ridiculous. No way will you see me up there before 12, maybe 10 min before.

That is just a Gamestop tactic so you pre-order the game which looks better for the cashier and company.

I would only ever be worried about this for very small small games. I am 100% positive that games like Halo, Grand Theft Auto, COD have a ton of other copies so they don't run out.
