I got it as soon as it came out. It's awesome. A few gripes, but nothing major. One is, with the Havok physics engine, I assumed you could shoot THROUGH cardboard boxes, but you can't. Anotehr is that the decals indicating the enemy has been hit (the bullet holes int he bodies and the blood), disappear. Game's short, but awesome. It can be replayed a lot though because of the amount of carnage you can wreak, and there are so many cool ways to kill off your enemies in this game.

I hope there will be modders for this game that will actually create new levels and storylines, that would be really great. I hear they're going to release the modding tools sometime next week.

How's the new bullet time effect? It's like Max has super powers now cause apparently the bullet time now works so that when you activate it, all the baddies get slow but Max doesn't. So Max can pull their pants down while eating spagetti as long as bullet time is activated.

In the first game the only thing that didn't slow down was Max's aiming. This could be a game killer for me.

Despite the gripes stated, the game was freaking awesome. Just finished it tonight. Great story. Great game.

A bunch of the store employees where I work took it home and played it. Each of them absolutely loved the game but they added it was once again to short. Apparently there are more (dreamworld) areas which I despised but fortuantely no walking on a line of blood... I still can't figure out that they were thinking on that section from the original.

Going to wait for the Xbox version myself and check it out from the store.
