The game was fun on PC, but for some reason I'm not sure that I'll enjoy this game more than Wolfenstein. Only having 2 types of games to play may take a lot of the fun out of it. I'm thinking Rainbow Six will be the best FPS of the Winter for Xbox.

Yea, I'm waiting on Raimbow Six. Although I disagree with Fetter for Wolfinstien being better than Counterstrike. (Not because your jinxed my Bears) But Counterstrike seems more realistic than RTCW. It has realistic limb damage. Not sure if the console will cause I have'nt been paying attention but I remember playing CS online many moons ago.

I havne't played Counter Strike in a while, so I don't remember too many details about the game. But from what I recall there were 0 respawns. Which is fine unless you're playing a small game. So I'm just thinking about playing all OS games when we might get 3 on 3 and not having to actually complete a mission. Just killing those 3 guys and winning seems kinda lame to me if that's what keeps happening over and over.

                      Re: Counter-Strike hands-on (2 movies)

One of the best things I loved in CS besides the limb damage was actually falling from abnormal heights to cause limb damge. I did'nt like RTCW to much because it was to unrealistic. I mean it was to fast and furious for te most part. It had its fun qualities, but it felt to much like regular Halflife death match to me. My favorite Online FPS right now is SOCOM. I love the teamwork you can have in SOCOM, if you dont have the skills, you cant be a Rambo unlike most FPS. If you wanna win you gotta stick together because youwont respawn.

I did'nt like the not respawing at first but it makes you play a more conservative and thinking mans game. You cant go guns a blazin or you'll catch one and be on the sidelines for a while. Play smart, and you live. And that why counterstrike was so popular.

I play CS on the comp, and I can't imagine it being played anywhere else. I'll stick to my cpu version of it. Besides, CS 1.6 is almost out of beta mode.
