Oh, man! I finally got this bad boy running on my PC. Killing orks is awesome. They never stop coming. Like Bighoff said, if you liked the demo, get the game. Too much fun.

Yeah its best representation of the 40k universe! I wish they would make a game from the perspective of the guardsman.

Can you imagine a Call of Duty or Battlefield type with you playing as a Imperial guardsman. Oh man just the thought of having an army with you fighting off an Nid or Ork invasion.

Multiplayer is a blast to! I'm currently level 5 and I can't wait to unlock all the armor sets so I can make my Salamander and Death Guard look good.

That would be sweet, depending on how this game goes you never know what they could do next. I'm level 12 right now, and love all the armor you can change, I'm looking for a really cool chapter to recreate that isn't in the game already.
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

The enemies of the Emperor fear many things. They fear discovery, defeat, despair and death.
Yet there is one thing they fear above all others.
They fear the wrath of the Space Marines!

We are the Ultramarines, the Sons of Guilliman. Whilst we draw breath, we stand. Whilst we stand, we fight. Whilst we fight, we prevail. Nothing shall stay our wrath.

I think about stuff like this when I'm destroying orks in this game. I may be one of the few people who likes the smurfs.

Talk about bad dreams. I read 15 Hours, which was about an Imperial Guardsman's first campaign. His company ends up on a planet supporting a fight with orks that has lasted ten years. Average life span of a rookie guardsman on this planet...15 hours.

Well FPS games are like 15 hours long anyway so playing as a guardsman would be perfect!

Being that Gears of War is what it is, and COD is what it is, and all great franchises, but this title here might be that new thing that games are looking for.

It would not surprise me if this games gets a ton of love.

I was not familar with this franchise, but after playing the demo I was easily convinced that this is a must buy.

I can see if the word gets out about the demo it will have the same effect on others.

I finally got around to playing the demo this past week and boy is this game a fresh breath of air in today's games. Granted it doesn't do anything new, but its a nice mix between Gears and God of War....two of my favorite franchises. BBY has it on sale till tomorrow for $39, might consider getting this.

                      Re: Warhammer 40K: Space Marine

I bought this over the holidays when it was on sale at BBY for $10 and finally checked it out this past week, not bad at all. I really like the mixture of gameplay between hack n' slash and 3rd person shooters without a cover system. The only complaint so far and a lot of it is my ignorance to the Warhammer universe is that I don't know what is really going on here from a story standpoint. Would have been cool if Relic could of fleshed out the story more in the cutscenes which are a tad bit on the shorter side.
