    X BOX OWNERS!!!!!

Since I bought Ncaa2004 I have had nothing but problems with the dde! Then I buy Madden, some old crap! Thinking that it is just the football games, my wife got me Tiger Woods and Nascar last sat. and I get the same [censored you naughty boy]! Ea has dropped the ball on this! I have never had any problems with any other games!
Called xbox and said iI needed to sen't it in and get it fixed! What is there to fix? Ever other non ea sports title works fine! Anyone else having the same problem?

Can anyone help with an ea ports phone # thanks

I didn't play the Nascar game, but with the other 3 I've gotten a total of maybe 2 dirty disc errors. One being from Tiger just a couple days ago.

Try looking in the manual, near the back. It will say "technical support" somewhere, and give you the phone number.

EA games always freeze on me, while most others work fine. I just rented Tiger Woods and it's been freezing like crazy. Makes me wonder what's going on with EA's quality control.

there were many long discussions about this on the ncaa board. it's probably got something to do with what version of the xbox you have. there are 3 different dvd readers which have been released at various times in the xbox's life. if you got a launch box, you're gonna have some problems. apparently the new ones are pretty relyable, i'm not sure about the inbetween ones. I've got a launch era box and i get a few NCAA DDE's(i took the game back for a new copy and it didn't help) but i've seen nothing on Madden thus far(played 4+ seasons, so not sure it'll ever show up). But It's apparently not a problem with EA, it's the DVD reader you have in your box. Someone said something about how much EA has to fit onto the discs to fit the whole game that the readers have to be especially good to read it(not that the old readers are bad, but you understand they make better readers with time). Anyway, a lot of people traded in their xbox for $100 and paid the extra $80 to get a new system to avoid this problem(which is only with EA games). there doesn't seem to be much you can do other than that, and i'm not so sure calling EA will do any good since it doesn't seem to be their problem.
