    Driver: San Francisco

No one ever made a topic for this?

Well it's pretty solid so far. Not the best technical game ever, the cutscenes are odd and I'm not a fan of the soundtrack, the oddly done cutscenes cut off a customone but man is it fun to play!

Also since no one made a topic that means no one posted this awesome trailer:

None there either. Races are only occasional side missions so it shouldn't be there anyway.

I ordered this. Had tons of fun with the multiplayer demo. At first I thought the whole "shift" concept seemed out of place in a racing genre but man this game is fun!

It reminds me alot of NFS HP.

Get it guys, you wont regret the MP!

yeah, this sounds like a surprising sleeper. Just another game that will get lost in the flood of AAA titles coming out though.

I'm actually shocked at the reviews, the demo was so, so, so awful.

One of the, if not the best arcade racers I have EVER played. Seriously.

Yah pretty much 8's across the board with a 9 and 6 in there.

I bought it today. Probably shouldn't have rented it for 2 days but an unexpected sale.

                  Re: Driver: San Francisco

this is like burnout paradise fun. It's got character and polish, where every car you pop into usually creates some good dialogue and even the smoke from the tires is sexy. The classic movie chase scene challenges are great, as they use a film filter, period accurate cars, and appropriate music. You know what you'll want to try when you unlock the Delorean too.

Sucks that this was pushed out without much hype, and is another example of a game that would have had a higher profile released in the summer drought period. Now people will probably hold onto their money for the higher profile releases coming up, but it deserves at least a rental.

What's the White Stripe movie challenge? (As in what movie is it?) I don't think I'm familar with that one. I knew Gone!,Bullet and The LA Connexion. Didn't unlock the other one yet.

Oh they totally screwed the pooch on their online pass attempt, they printed the codes wrong so it's free for everyone now.

white stripe is just a reference to starsky and hutch, since you drive a red gran torino.

I picked it up from redbox last week and really enjoyed it so I bought the game. Having a lot of fun with it. Haven't really tried multiplayer yet. Probably will once I finish the story mode.

The multiplayer mode in the demo was actually quite addicting. There were a few modes to play from, and using the shift feature with it was a pretty nice touch to stay on your toes, no matter the mode.

Don't think I'll buy this one, though.
