        So many good memories with that one, and if you have a multitap on-hand, it supports 4-player simultaneous play!

        It was basically Mario Party before that trend started.
        Please tell me this had a weightlifting mini game? I use to rent this game all the time when I was 5 years old and I've been looking for it ever since but could not find it. I sure hope this is it and the weightlifting part is all I really remember.

          Tecmo Super Bowl will certainly live forever as my favorite sports game of that era, but NES Playaction Football is the one that really started to help me learn the sport.

          The SNES version took it a step further by including different, customizable league tiers - you could play in the Pros, College, or High School! Spent many hours recreating my high school team in that game.
          Man i had many many hours on that game. Great times. The biggest thing that stood out was how there was no real height on the ball and as long as you were in the path you could intercept it.

              Shadowrun for the SNES was great too. I would love a remake of it for current gen.

              And no, the crap that came out on the 360 doesn't count.

                Re: NES/SNES Gaming Thread

                I'll just leave this here...

                <object height="360" width="480">

                <embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/yBKq_nIYdbg?version=3&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" height="360" width="480"></object>

                I'm trying to think of some obscure SNES games I liked...so far I only remember NES ones.

                Oh, here we go! Maybe not really obscure, but it doesn't get talked about much anymore:

                <object width="480" height="360"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/TQdrINpVtNU?version=3&amp;hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/TQdrINpVtNU?version=3&amp;hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="480" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

                So addicting.

                  A great tribute to the AVGN beating Contra for the first time.

                          Yep, weightlifting was one of the events.

                          You had to deal with "Sneezer" the mouse running around and causing you to drop your weight.
