So far this is how my year has gone.

Mass Effect 2 purchased - Excellent game! Still play time left until 3
Mass Effect 1 purchased - given to friend - Currently collecting dust
Need for Speed Shift 2 - Collecting dust
NCAA 12 - Collecting dust - release issues killed my experience with the game
Forza 4 - Excellent game - Well worth the purchase
Arkham Asylum - Favorite game of all time! - Currently playing
Arkham City - Still in shrink wrap

Future purchases:

BF3 - Possible - But I would have to break the promise to myself to never buy EA games again

MW3 - Most likely Rental - Will wait for reviews

Only planning purchase of Mass Effect 3 next year.

This year has just been really good, since we're at the end of the system lifecycle. The releases have been more or less pretty well spaced out, save for a few weeks in the summer.

There is at least one or two block busters each week from here on out. If your only buying a few games than then its easy. For me I'm going to be skipping (at the very least) Batman, Deus Ex, Gears 3, Ace Combat, and Nba 2k12 and I would purchased all of them in the Summer.

At bare minimum it wouldn't hurt to release a few 2nd tier titles in the summer.

Saints Row 3 on release. I will probably buy Battlefield 3 around Christmas when I have some extra money to spend on renewing my XBL gold subscription and upgrading my home theater set-up.

I think I'll check out Uncharted 3 right now, and waiting on others as I have more time (Skyrim, Batman, etc). Too many games right now and not enough time.

Otomedius Excellent should finally be out Nov. 1st. I pre-ordered it in June when it was supposed to come out so it's already purchased.

I was going to get NFS The Run but after what's been said about the demo that I can't try I'm not sure on it anymore. Also on the same day.

I'll get Deus Ex Human Revolution during the Steam Xmas sale and maybe Rage.

WWE 12 if I can download creation items this year,if not I'll just rent it.
