What are your predictions on how MW3 will sell?

When MW2 hit many knew and felt that the title will sell very well.

The same was felt with Black Ops. Which again did extremely well with sales, and surpassing MW2.

I have to say with MW3 I do not get this same vibe, and I'm not alone with others on my friends list.

It will sell well, but I dont think it will top MW2.

Again what are your thoughts?

My hope is that it does horrible but in reality it will prob break some sort of record.

I believe MW3 will out sell both. It seems just about every year the next COD out sells the one before. MW3 will be a good game this year. I understand some people will not like it because it will feel the same way it did in MW2. But I believe MW3 will be good and it will out sale both of them.

Being that it feels like MW2 is why I think it won't outsell either title.

That still is not a bad thing, because those titles sold Millions. I just don't think MW3 will sell as much.

I feel next years version will actually be the biggest seller ever. I feel Treyarch listens better, and will deliver something much better overall. Hopefully it will be on a
new console

To me this franchise is getting to arcady.

I love the gameplay. The controls are spot on, and no other FPS controls as smoothly as COD. We have to agree with that, and is probabaly the main reason why so many play this game.

At the sametime I really think the COD franchise is not bringing anything that new to the table, and it is getting stale.

I'm sticking to my guns and saying it will not outsell either title, and next years installment from Treyarc will set new records.

At this point, they can slap the name Call of Duty on anything and it set records for sales..

I am not a fan of the game since the first MW.

But lets not kid ourselves. It is now so saturated in the mainstream gaming market, that it will sell on brand recognition alone.

I don't think release sales will tell the story. You have to take the entire year into account. They will get a sale from me sometime in 2012. I like the change of pace. There might be many others that do the same out of curiosity or other reasons.

Brand recognition also plays a part in Holiday sales. Non-gamers will by COD as gifts.

I think that it will sell less than Black Ops but more than MW2. I don't think any COD game will ever outsell Black Ops. It's sales numbers were absurd.

I think it will blow out both Black Ops and MW2

Everywhere you turn people talk about that game or the series

When going to a forum or website for electronics in terms of tv or home theater they always reference playing Call of duty to gauge how great the tv is or the speakers

Even on all head set websites, only name that comes to mind is COD

This game is a gorilla and will continue killing all sales.

BF3 is not even going to be in the same planet in terms of sales
