    Trade In deals

Hey guys, I've came across around 5 games for the 360 that I don't have the capability to play. I know that there are several stores that do the trade in credit now. The ones that I know of are:

    Toys R Us
    Gamestop
    Best Buy

Does anyone have any other stores that have trade in programs for either cash or store credit? Right now I'm leaning towards Toys R Us, getting around $50 for the games and just put that money towards my little ones Christmas funds.

Are there any trade in deals, or any other stores that have the trade in programs? Thanks guys/gals.

Amazon is pretty good. It takes a little over a week to get the credit though.

I don't know. I literally went through and was getting more at both Toys R Us and Gamestop. Wonder what gives? Do they ever have any trade deals where they give you more credit than normal?

You gotta watch on Amazon. Values fluctuate all the time. About a month ago I was able to trade Madden for 40 dollars. Sometimes the values are crappy. I like it though because I buy most of my games from them.

When gamestop does their 40-50% extra bonuses, that's the best time and place to trade though.

Yeah, I guess that's what I've got to look at. Right now though, looks like Toys R Us is giving me more than I'd even get on ebay, so may just end up going that route for the time being.

              Trade-ins are always a ripoff.

Sell your games on Amazon/eBay instead.

Have you looked at gamestaq.com? Sometimes takes a while to sell, but you normally get more than you would trading it in.

If you want cash for games, just do gamestop and wait for a 50% extra deal. If you want to be able to buy random crap do Amazon. Gamestop gives you 10% less if you want cash.

Those bonus % specials they run only work for store credit, never for cash trade-ins and if you do want cash they take 20% off the trade in price not 10%.

Yeah, I went ahead and just did the Toys R Us deal. Shipping them out tomorrow... Not a bad deal at all, and it nets us a Rock n Roll Elmo

I've been selling on ebay for a decade, but I'm pretty much done with the site. Between dealing with random people, paypal, and the fees, it's just not worth it anymore as a seller.

I pretty much use Amazon only now. They offer competitive prices and free shipping through UPS. If they don't like the condition of my games, they'll just send them back for free.

Yeah but I'm spending the $ on games anyways so it doesn't matter. At least that's what I do. Wait for the deals and use coupons and I get good trade values ESPECIALLY when they run the extra $ when used towards other games. Just have to be smart about when etc.. you do it.

I was responding to ollies statement about getting direct cash for trade-ins. None of their promotions work for that.

I completely agree with your post though. I work GS specials to their fullest and in doing so get a pretty good payback from games I'll never play again. I'm an instant gratification persona so trading in games to GS and walking out with something else to play immediately is why I prefer them over Amazon.
