    Killzone 4

Next Killzone is in development according to Edge magazine.

Guerrilla Games is working on the next Killzone game according to Edge magazine.

The new issue, out today, claims that the “bulk” of staff at the Dutch developer is working on the next game in the PlayStation exclusive series, with Killzone 2 and 3 senior producer Steven Ter Heide taking the role as game director.

Also included in the magazine is numerous quotes from Steven Ter Heide, suggesting that the studio is working on more than just Killzone for the PS Vita.

There is no suggestion that the next game in the series will be on a new next generation machine, we therefore presume that it will arrive on PlayStation 3 since it is only halfway through its 10 year life cycle, despite rumours from Edge suggesting otherwise.
Hopefully things come back to earth in the next installment. I think we've seen enough of Helghan and essentially how they are the victims in the story as they get invaded by the ISA.

    Re: Killzone 4

They need to do a story reboot. Me and a friend tried playing co-op campaign but at the end of the day I don't care about the story or the characters. The story is just poor. Obviously game mechanics, multiplayer, and graphics are top notch but at the same time these days FPS's are getting free passes for a weak story so who knows.

Killzone 3 was a good game, but I think they tried to do too much with it. I preferred the MP of Killzone 2. Killzone 3 became a spawn campers haven.
