Re: South Park: The Stick of Truth
I don't really like South Park, but I just saw some quick gameplay of this on YouTube and it looks amazing! I might pick it up just for the genuineness of the product that was made. I know my friend would definitely love this.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: South Park: The Stick of Truth
I waivered back and forth on picking it up or not. With Titanfall, Dark Souls II and Infamous coming out over the next two months I was hesitant to pick it up but when I heard it was 10-12 hours I figured I could pick it up, install it and be done with it and delete it off my hard drive before Titanfall. Now I may need to go pick up another SSD since I might not be done with this one before next Tuesday.
I kind of feel a bit stupid sitting in the dark in my office at 2 am as a grown man dying hysterically at a horrendously crude joke, but its so nice to veg out and wallow in the filth and the looks my wife gives me when she happens to hear some lines are priceless.Comment

Re: South Park: The Stick of Truth
I haven't finished and don't even post spoilers about it quoting me because I'll know it's true then but I keep having this feeling that "don't fart on anyone's balls" is gonna play a role in this somewhere.
Or it's just a running gag that keeps me laughing.

Re: South Park: The Stick of Truth
When you complete the game, do you have free run in South Park to do side quests and collectibles or is the game just over?

Did you let the drivers install?
And is it a wired controller or a wireless with a play n charge cable?

I am not 100% sure, but I think I read that you can go back and finish all the side stuff once you complete the story.Comment

Re: South Park: The Stick of Truth
So I have about 2 hours in. I'm basically just running around and checking stuff out while doing some side quests and doing the main mission at the time. I have one problem/question... Is there set checkpoints? I completed one of the initial training missions where Butters teaches you how to use healing and items in battle right after you are done at Cartman's house and sent to recruit members. I saved it right after that and turned off my 360 to go do something else. I came back a few hours later and i had to beat the training again. Is there any point for the save file in the menu? Are there set checkpoints like i asked originally? I'm confused on this.PSN: pastor_glidds

What I do is create my own save file and check to see what the little picture next to my save file shows. If it's my character where I was standing when I saved, I know I'm good. Often times, it's an action or two before.
So I either make the decision to do something next, maybe go outside, anything that will get the little save icon going (that doesn't involve a step in a quest) and then manually save again. Usually that puts me where I originally wanted to save.
That's how I've done it at least."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied.
