I really hope they throw this game in a PS3 bundle for like $250. I need one more round with the PS3 before the new consoles release.

My last PS3 game.

I used it a ton for blu's but all 4 games I bought on release day were all made by Naughty Dog.

And right before my Gamers Club Unlocked expires.

From a standpoint of scarcity. This is what I wanted Fallout 3 to be. The first few hour of Fallout 3 were amazing because you didn't have ****. Mid late game was a slaughter cuz you have everything. I hope this game by mid game you're not walking around with six machine guns and an RPG.

I watched the impressions on IGN.

I don't remember if they specified how long they played, but they said, that things you have/use break down, and you will have to replace them. I don't think there will be any stockpiling of weapons or ammo, because you can only carry so many things at a time.

I got the sense that the whole game you'd be scrambling to survive.

Gave in and watched some gameplay vids after saying I wouldn't. Game looks great! Seems to be very story driven. I love my mindless action as much as the next guy but looking forward to this for a change of pace. Only small concern i have is how Naughty Dog did the gunplay in Uncharted. Hate shooting guys 10 times before they die. Hope that part of this game is different.

I'm pretty hopeful this will be much different, especially since weapons and ammo should be much harder to find. Can't have it take 15 bullets to kill someone if ammo pickups are rare.

Im trying t sell my PS3, with PS Move, and MLB The Show 13 for $200 on Craigslist and no luck in two weeks. If I don't sell it before this game comes out, then Im not going to sell it, just going to buy this game instead.

Here is about 30 mins of gameplay from the new demo of the game. I commend those who don't watch or read anything about game before they come out. I am too impatient though. Can't wait to play this. Be careful when reading comments on videos or previews. Certain key info has leaked and there are people who are spoiling the game in the comment sections.

seeing as how i played through over half this game already and through this exact level, watching this video didnt ruin anything for me. but it does show me that the concerns i had with the game are still there.

first off to answer you guys questions about the gunplay, yes it is like Uncharted in that it took quite a few Bullets to kill each zombie/infected person. very annoying!!! and it looks like its going to be that way in the final version as you saw in that video (which i see has now been removed.)

now the main annoyance that i had with game, which i see is still there after watching video.........

(although i dont think what im about to say will spoil anything, i will still say it under a spoiler tag for those of you who dont want to know anything about the game or gameplay)

Spoiler

is that there is alot of time where you just walk around collecting things and your not really doing anything. for example, for those of you who saw the gameplay video, which is 30 minutes long, the first 20 minutes of it was just him and girl walking around picking up stuff. yeah he fought like 2 or 3 zombies and there was dialogue between him and the girl, but other than that they werent really doing anything.

and through both of my play-through's of the game, i found that happening a little too often. now some of you may not see that as bad, but for me i found it quite boring. now overall i still enjoyed what i played (although some of the story/cutscenes were not in place when i last played the game) but i was hoping they would have changed that.

one last annoyance that i had was when you would pick up bullets while walking around you would pick 1 or 2 at a time. i couldnt tell if they changed that but i hope they did.
