Definitely up there with my best games of all time... Just such a good story.. the ending still has me pissed off though.

I was really pissed at Joel for not letting Ellie have her surgery to help find the cure to save mankind!! Great ending though, that part just had me SMH

One word to describe this game to me is EMOTION. From beginning to the end the emotional attachments made and the emotional moments just put me right in the story. It's games like this that even though it's linear I will take over sandbox games any day. I Truly loved it. If not for NCAA 14 coming out I would probably have another play through on harder difficulty, but that will have to wait a little while.

Started up last night. Didn't have a lot of time to play after setting up my daughters accounts and re-downloading my games I had purchased earlier in year.

..But what i did play did nothing but make me want to get out of here and get back into it.
Think I'm in for a nice ride.

Is it just me or does the last half of the game fly by compared to the first 50%.

It could be me just really learning the game mechanics and being more efficient/successful at encounters which could be due to or the wider array of equipment to use to get through situations. I feel like there was a lot more cut scenes and chapters got more linear which sped the % along though.

Also, my time playing reset last night. My save file now reads 1 hour 45 minutes and I'm at 90%

Yep one of the GOAT in my eyes. Its funny, I have played a few PS3 titles on my PS3 and was on the Verge of getting rid of the Launch model yet it was all worth it in the end to play this game. I will try listing them.

Valkyria Chronicals (Loved, 2nd favorite PS3 game)
Heavy Rain (Liked, 3rd favorite PS3 game)
Uncharted 1 (Hated)
Uncharted 2 (Was ok)
Uncharted 3 (Not as good as 2 but not as bad as 1)
Killzone 3 (Nothing special)
Resistance 1 (Was ok)
God Of War 3 (Got bored)
The Show (Not the biggest baseball fan but got it mostly for brother)

The Last of Us and Walking Dead give me GREAT hope for next gen. Games like that can't just vanish going forward. They can't.

I know the game hasn't been out long, but I am itching to see what they have coming for DLC. Hopefully some new mulitplayer modes.

I've been playing a ton the last couple of days, but I feel like I'm nearing the end now that I'm about 15 hours in. I find myself wanting to slow down just so the game lasts longer... it's been a great experience so far.

Will be picking this game up on the Weekend!...Seems like the perfect game to retire the Ps3 before the next-gen consoles hit!

Also listening to the soundtrack on Spotify. I wish more games would do this ... lots of beautiful music goes into games.
