I feel like it should be released any moment now.

I am waiting. I hope some new MP stuff. MP is phenomenal. So much fun.

For those that completed it, would you buy it again if it was a ps4 launch title? Would it persuade you to get one in the first place?

I personally wouldn't buy it again just for PS4, I see no point in that. But I also don't replay games either.

Sure I would get it for Ps4, but only when the price drops for it but not for launch since I already played it.

GOTY by far... This game was such a phenomenal experience. Everything from the storyline to the graphics was just incredible. It's such a shame that anyone that owns only a 360 will not be able to share in this phenomena. Reminds me why I own both a 360 and a PS3. I wish that Naughty Dog did multiplatforms because with this game being only on PS3, it won't rake in the money that it could be. Thanks for this masterpiece Naughty Dog.

Just finished it. I was slightly disappointed by the ending but it wasn't an awful ending. I'm split between this and Bioshock Infinite as to which is the best game I've ever played. The Last of Us reminded me a lot of Bioshock Infinite. I deeply cared about the characters. The story immediately grabbed my attention and I couldn't stop playing to see what would happen.

I think the thing I enjoyed most about the game was the experience. I really felt like I evolved as a player as the game went on. At the beginning, I remember not knowing what the hell I was doing. I was dying constantly. And I didn't feel very comfortable. By the end of the game, I felt like a veteran. I was comfortable and confident in my skills. I didn't die a whole lot in the later part of the game. That had a lot to do with me growing as a player.

I'm remember being so frustrated with the game at first that I was contemplating quitting. The learning curve is huge if you're not used to stealth-heavy games. It was a difficult game but I feel very accomplished now that I have beaten it.

I'm looking to start playing some multiplayer now. I tried a little when I first got the game and didn't know what I was doing. I feel like I've learned a few things by playing the single player.

Finished the game the other night. Just under 15 hours. What a great ride.
Loved every bit of of it.
Thought the ending was on par.. and expected. And by that it was probably what I would have done if it was me.

Will wait a while but will probably go again eventually.

For those who did not like the ending, here's a way to look at it (i did not write it):

it truly shows that this isn't a game about saving the world, this is about a bond that is created between two characters on a journey through a destroyed america. In the end of the story Joel realizes he has seen the world as it is now and he realizes all hope is essentially lost. Men have become monsters through Infection or just becoming murderous to survive, Even if you make them immune to infection they are not people anymore they are monsters which is really what the story gets at by showing that man is a bigger threat than infected. No matter hat you give someone they can not rid themselves of who they were. Life could not carry on and Joel sees that so he realizes Ellie is really one of the only happy and hopeful things left in this world. Joel knows the world wouldn't change so he does the right thing by keeping the only thing worth living in his eyes. So in the end Joel knows that all hope is lost and that you must cherish those last great things the world has such as Ellie and does what he feels he has to do. The fireflies may say look for the light, but why look for something that isn't there?

the writing did a great job of getting inside Joel's head.

I walked into that room and immediately fired at the surgeons. I saw myself through his eyes. And I completely understood it. There was no doubt in my mind that Joel would kill anything to keep Ellie alive.

That's what good writing gets you.
