Best maps for a COD game

Just curious to see which COD game would receive the most votes for having the best maps in multiplayer.

Seriously, I have to go with COD4 overall (including the map pack w/Creek, Broadcast and Chinatown).

So many great maps on there, so few dogs. I'm the rare type that even got a kick out of Wetwork and the opening grenade spam salvo.

It's easier to list the maps I didn't care for on COD4: Bog, Showdown, and Countdown. And even those maps are more fun than 'good' maps in the later games.

World at War's maps were pretty average with a few standouts, but there were more maps that I disliked to maps that I enjoyed.

MW2 really had some fun maps, good times. Terminal, Favela, Wasteland, Sub Base, and Derailed. Some good rounds on Estate, too. MW2 has a lot of variety to it's maps, lots of personality and points that you can call out.

I also enjoy the maps on Black Ops, though I usually just play Combat Training anymore on there.

Simply, not digging MW3's maps so far. That and BF3 ensnared me so...

Overall, MW2, followed by COD4. My favorite map overall was in WaW which was Castle.

I would be slit on CoD4 and MW2, but I liked the overall game MW2 was, so MW2 wins for me.

Man I still have not voted. I'm having a hard time choosing, but it is looking like MW2,COD4 , and then Black ops.

MW2 was such a unbalanced game. I did very well on it, but the game was unbalanced. MW3 game with MW2 maps would have been solid, and with the patch coming out it would really be nice.

Well this is about maps, so I will stick to the subject and go with MW2. Casting my vote now

Call of Duty 4 was probably my favorite in terms of maps. After that would probably be a toss-up between MW2 and Call of Duty 3.

Call of Duty 3 was great in the sense that there was a key position or two on each map, and there was always an **** battle to be in control of them.

Modern Warfare 2, IMO.

Unfortunately, it also has a couple of the worst maps as well.

I think overall, CoD4 felt more balanced. There were some very good long-range maps, CQC, and midrange maps. I haven't really been satisifed with sniping in this series since this one.

Then after COD4 MW2 had some decent maps for sniping, but after that it got smaller, and sniping has been all about quick scoping. Which I suck at. I can hard scope the heck out of you , but quick scoping forget about it lol.

Black Ops ehhh had a couple in thier too.

Some big maps like in Ghost Recon would be nice for sniping

Now in MW3 sniping maps dont even exist, so why even have a snipers class?

Oh well. Hopefully they will give us some sniping maps with the DLC.
