    Call of Duty elite ripoff

So, I just got the elite upgrade as a gift for Christmas, and amazingly, I have basically zero functionality on it...mainly coming to clans. ON the Xbox itself, I can't even create a freaking clan. I went onto the website, and I could create it, but couldn't invite anyone?

Seriously? Come on...I thought EA was bad, but to just have tabs completely missing, that is insane.

    Pisses me off big time.

Its stat tracking is also very weak. It tracks less stuff than Black Ops did in-game and its always getting stats wrong too.

Ehh...I am MUCH more concerned with the clan thing. I hadn't really gone onto Elite at all until I got the upgrade. I was really looking forward to getting my clan set up, and doing the clan missions, which btw, still don't exsist

The fact that on the Xbox it doesn't give me the option to create a clan, and that on the computer, it doesn't give me the option to invite my full friends list is extremely frustrating, and quite honestly, dumbfounding.

At least in NCAA12, super LB's are a game programming error...or the OD transfer bug, you don't have to pay for the service...but seriously, something as simple as having a button on the screen that says "invite player" is missing. That is mind numbing to me, and extremely disapointing.

The prestige calculator is also way off. It is telling me that it will take me 2.4 years to make 10th prestige.

Im already at 5 prestige level 60. I pretty much prestige once a week. That means by the end of Jan I will be at 10. Where the heck do they get 2.4 years?

LOL......I could have told you it wouldn't be worth the money when they first announced it months ago. Other then getting map packs a tad bit cheaper, it isn't worth getting considering they don't release map packs often at all and usually not until 6 months AFTER the game came out.

First maps are going to be next month. Yes, it is worth the buy. You are going to save money on DLC. Not only are there going to be maps, but guns as well. 50$ for all DLC, a great buy. You also get the map packs a week early I think with Elite Premium. Sorry, Elite was a good buy. It was released with problems, but it was the first year and it was sold like crazy. I spent 60$ on DLC for Black Ops, and they said there's going to be over 20 DLC packages for MW3. Even if those are a 3$ DLC, you save 10$. Expect 3 or 4 map packs at 15$, thats around 45-60$. Plus all the other DLC, you might be saving a big chunk of money.

Anyone planning to buy all the map packs will have saved $20(HE) when all is said and done so its still well worth the price even with its many flaws.

The 4 hours of double XP and the extra prestige token are just the cherry on top.
