Got a care package in my last match, and it netted me a death machine. I proceeded to kill one person with it, and died like 5 times. I move waaay to slow with it. Either that, or I just suck with it .

People can call it "skill" if they want to, but quickscoping is still garbage.

Just because you guys don't like it doesn't mean they should do away with it, or that it's garbage. I don't like people running around with a knife the whole game, but I live with it, it's part of the game.

If I run up on you from 7 feet out with a sniper rifle and you have an assault rifle, there's no way I would be able to pull up a scope before you dropped me... that's another area where the lag comp benefits some player's style.. not necessarily you guys, but some other people it could.

I didn't mean to step on anyone's toes and I didn't say it was easy to do. I just think it's garbage and another "feature" that's bad for the game.

But the thing is it is easy to do and master. Especially the slower movement speed in Blops 2. Play Combat training a little and you'll be quickscoping like a pro. A "skill" thats not hard to so at all.

My friends tried to get me into it, yea its easy but I hate it. One of the things that really annoys me about COD now a days lol. Not bashing on anyone's play style just giving my opinion.

I haven't really run into many people quickscoping, but it does irritate me when I do. But, to each his own. I tried doing it in combat training for kicks and giggles, and while it's pretty easy after you get used to it, it's just not a fun playstyle IMO.

Actually I don't recall saying I like it. In fact in a previous post I stated that I don' do it because I am no good at it. If a guy runs up behind you, which means you don't see him coming, what's the difference if he raises is gun up and kills you using a sniper rifle or any other other kind of gun? What if he knifed you instead? Would you be complaining about that? It's just part of the game. Just like people running around with a knife, or people that run n gun. You are right, I can spin it any way I want, you did too.

The way I look at it is you can use or do whatever you want in the game as long as your not cheating. I may not like quickscoping either or the effects of the lightweight perk but I don't blame people for using it I blame the devs for including it in the first place. The devs better start realizing less is more and stop including alot of silly stuff that adds nothing to the game.

Why the **** would I complain about someone knifing me from behind ? That's really the most logical use for a knife + I never specified someone shooting me from behind, I'm talking about standing face to face with someone from 7 feet away. It would make a hell of a lot more sense just to fire the rifle from the hip.. the game shouldn't reward someone for using a scope in that situation.. especially when they never even get the crosshairs up and the gun is fired.

I'm not on here bashing everything about the game or something, so please stop acting like I am. I was just saying I think quickscoping is bad for the game. That's my opinion, if you don't like it.. cool.

Yeah, I really don't expect my opinion on something to change the way anyone plays the game. It's just how I feel about it..

I just hate this mindset that someone has to be right and someone has to be wrong about video games..

Luckily, it's nowhere near as prevalent as it was in past COD games. If someone quick scopes me, I get more aggravated at the game than them.

Same reason I quit playing non-league games online in sports games. I can't tell someone not to play a game a certain way or their way is wrong..

I hate quick-scoping, especially from short range. It seems like it takes one person to start it, and then the entire match is nothing but a quick-scoping battle.

I could probably count on one hand how many times I've been quickscoped on this game. It really hasn't been a problem for me like it was in MW2 or MW3. But I agree when it does happen it is quite annoying.

One playstyle that I cannot stand is the idiots that take off their primary and secondary, and run around with lightweight, extreme conditioning, and a combat knife. I swear it is almost as annoying as commando tac-knifers in mw2. In my opinion the knife should be completely taken out and return to the CoD2 melee style of two hits with the butt of a gun. Makes a lot more sense than magically pulling out a knife in 0.00001 seconds and insta one hit killing.
