I keep changing guns and perks and setups and it keeps me into playing this game. Lately been unlocking the FAL. It is a welcome change as I play the maps a lot differently this way.

It's also a lot more challenging to single fire a gun, but man does it put people down fast.

FAL is a more advanced gun but it is extremely rewarding once you can wield it.

Select fire and suppressor on the FAL and it gets pretty nasty.

And if you need the red dot, you can sacrifice the first perk slot as it doesn't really help a FAL class.

ive always enjoyed using the semi-auto weapons in other cod games. once i tried out the fal with select fire i was

my kit for the fal looks like
fal-select fire- silencer
perk 1 ghost + blind eye
perk 2 scavenger + cold blooded
perk 3 none

lethal claymore

perk 2 greed perk 1 greed

My trigger finger belongs to the FAL lol. I can do good with other assault rifles but I'm consistent with the FAL.

I pretty much did the same thing,except my new weapon of choice is the swat-556,DAMN is that gun beast with select fire.

It was rough at first,as the gun is a burst fire,and there's a bit of delay,so you can't rapid fire so I had to pick and choose my battles. I mainly played the maps where I wasn't getting caught in "tight quarters" (Turbine,Slums and Hijacked)

Those maps gave me a good line of sight to where I could sit back and pick people off without being caught in the doo doo....lol.

Now that I've got select fire,I don't worry about it anymore...close battles? no problem,long range engagements?...no problem. I feel this gun is the most versatile I've used....I don't have to worry about long range encounters thanks to the burst fire ,then when things get tight,I throw on select fire,and can go toe to toe with any SMG.

I'm currently running red dot sight,suppressor and select fire...and I am absolutely loving this gun.

One other thing I did to help my game.....I found my other Kontrolfreak extender and slapped it on my left stick (had previously only used one for the right stick) and lowered my sensitivity to 5....WORLD of difference for me,talk about head shots...lol

I had watched a few Youtube vids,and the consensus was that most "pro" players used lower sensitivity,which I found interesting as it seemed they were speeding all over the place....but once I lowered mine last night,I can now see why they use lower sensitivity,throw in my kontrolfreaks extenders,and my new lower sensitivity, and this game just became alot more enjoyable.

Started using the EOTech sight this morning. Normally I run irons, but I've been struggling lately lining up my shots. Not with the EOTech. Had some great games this morning using it on both the Type 25 and the PDW. If I could only use my FAL without my controller going bonkers switching between semi and full auto on it's own...

I'm about to use the overpowered shotgun or the knife glitch like half the bums on this game, just to piss them off.

Last time I address you, but this thread is littered with you whining and complaining.

We get it, you don't like the game, but keep saying the same thing over and over like we care.

And because others are enjoying it, you then resort to cheapshots because you can't reproduce the same results.

Keep posting about a game you "shredded" though.

I'm starting to get a little tired of this game...it happens sooner and sooner with each COD game. Hopefully the DLC can spark my interest again.

COD4 by far. I really enjoyed the first Black ops too. I think it's just me getting burnt out with this series.

I sent a lot of you PS3 guys an friend request. I played for about an hour today and really enjoyed it. I know people bitch about the shotgun, but in my hands, it did not feel overpowered. It did the job up close like a shotgun should, but at distance it was week.

With the 870 as soon as you can, extend the barrel (long barrel) and put a laser on it and you are done.

I'm not a huge shotgun guy, but I know that...

perk greed 1, perk greed 3.
Ghost, Lightweight.
Toughness
Dead Silence/Extreme Conditioning

is pretty much shotgun mayhem if you like shotguns. Like I said, I hardly use it but when I do in smaller maps man it's fun.
