    Thinking about picking up MW3 tomorrow since you guys did.

    I almost snapped tonight playing Black Ops II. I should never have to worry about putting half a clip into someone and them killing me with two shots, ever.

        You should.

        A truly underrated game as currently constructed and by far the least amount of warts aside from COD 4.

        I wouldn't get rid of BO2 though...there is still hope for more patches and bigger maps in the DLC. And even though it was made by 12 year olds drunk on Mountain Dew, it still provides a change of pace to other COD's.

            Damn guys, I did love MW3 but as I remember between the striker, smg snipers and Type 95s I got pissed a lot.

                My fave COD's are COD 3, COD 4, WAW & Blk OPS 1 to a lesser extent. Hated MW2, MW3 & Blk OPS 2 is getting close to being on the list. After WAW they it stared to go downhill in my opinion. The campaigns are throwaway nonsense and the mp is a convoluted mess as they keep piling on more silly things with each game. Less is more.

                    I had hesitations going in myself based on the stuff I had read,but rest assured...this has been a MUCH better experience so far. I have had a few host migrations,but that hasn't bothered me at all.

                    In comparison to BLOPS 2,the hit detection is WAAAAAAY better....I played more tonight,and as I mentioned earlier...if you're late you lose (in most situations) get a jump on somebody,they die.

                    I ran into a situation earlier tonight to where I was literally down to 4 bullets in my gun,and I forgot to switch to my sidearm,and don't you know I was able to get the kill with 3 bullets,and have time to steal his weapon. I can't recall ANYthing like that happening in BLOPS2.

                        I would like to know the secret to the "smg snipers" though,as it seems when I use them the damage drop off is quite significant. That's why I only use them in tighter situations.

                            mp7 + range+extended mag was pretty beast iirc. you could take people out from pretty far with that setup.

                                Gotcha...I don't think I'm anywhere close to unlocking that gun yet,I'm only a level 34,so I've got a ways to go for that one..lol. But that info is good to know.

                                    Who all has picked up MW3? Lets run tonight. I've decided that I'm just going to troll and do it often.

                                    Played with authentic a couple nights ago and was riot shielding being a distraction in KC. We won by like 20 something tags because they were so worried about trying to kill me. It was hilarious.

                                        It seems like the cod cycle never ends. New game comes out everyone thinks its good initially then it becomes horrible and people either go back to another game or say the next one will be better. Then it is rinse and repeat over and over. I have had Black Ops II for over a week and still have not played the multiplayer yet. I think after playing BF3 the past year I am just not as into COD like I used to be. I hope it is not as bad as everyone is saying. I never played MW3 because I prefer the treyarch games, and even if Black Ops II is a bad as everyone seems to think it is lately, at least there is no god awful dead man's hands or last stand in the game.

                                                Ten times better then the target finder.

                                                The only people who complain about that are the ones who didn't make sure the guy they shot were dead.

                                                I'll put half a clip into a dead body because I'm so use to the "Second Chance" perk.
