I started playing BLOPS2 pretty heavily again this weekend for some odd reason. I've been playing mostly Capture the Flag with a bit of Headquarters, TDM, and a random game of FFA tossed in.

I have been tearing it up this weekend with a K/D over 2.0. Golded out my Vector and really leveled up the MSMC and Scorpion. I've been working with the sniper rifles some too (I'm terrible at sniping) and have had some really good results.

I'll probably stay regular with the game until it angers me enough to stop playing for another 5 months.

I had my best weekend in a while too. First time I can remember my weekly KDR ending up over 2 in a long time. In past games it was rare that I ever had a weekly below 2.

Though if there were a way to separate the matches I played solo from the ones I played with friends I bet my ratio would have been over 3 for solo and right around 1 for matches with friends.

The second I party up my connection tends to go to hell.

Same exact thing for me. Maybe it's because I'm BS'in with my friends and not paying as close of attention to the game. They don't like playing most objective based games that aren't SnD so I've done a lot of flying solo.

So I'm much better on Hardcore than core. I struggle on ground war but on hardcore Kill confirmed I'm usually at the top. My bullets kill better, etc...

Still beasting the CTF lobbies. Brought my K/D up from 1.27 to 1.34 this week. I had a match last night on Nuketown where I started 0-5 and ended up going 64-12 or something crazy like that.

CTF is my favorite objective mode but not enough people play it.

I also love how they've pretty much killed Mercenary mode by adding objectives to it. Merc TDM used to have 10K-20K in its playlists. Now Merc Moshpit is lucky if it ever hits 600 people.

Last night I played in Domination alot but had my best game ever in COD in Standoff One of my favorite maps in game!

I went 48-5 with over 4000 points top player in my game.

But reason it was my best game ever is I got Brutal Killer & Nuclear last night. My nephew saw me get it.

I was really nervous & shaking as I got to 25 then got to kill 29 but ended up 31-0 all with gun before finally dying.

What a great way to earn them legit without needing to boost like I've seen people do with tac insert.

Suprisely a prestige master had a tac insert I never knew was there behind a fence near C but he always kept coming back to same place everytime. Which explained why I kept killing him.

Either he was crazy or just didn't care cuz he knew I was there but came anyway it took me killing him like 12 times in a row for him to stop going to same place. I killed him like 3 more times the entire game afterwards.

Which means I killed him like 15 times in entire game which is downright crazy.

He was 16-32 but man he must of been.using a sniper cuz in the process of killing him like 15 times he kept shooting at me but just couldn't kill me.

He got close at 1 point had me in.red as I didn't see him at 1st but once I saw him I got him.

Then I ran out of ammo luckly I had my duel wield gold kap 40 to get me by as that really saved me from dying & losing nuclear.

It was the greatest feeling ever. granted my team lost but it was a great win 4 me as

I had been close to nuclear a couple times only to have time either run out or I would die right at kill 24 in a row

So glad that's overwith.

So tell me what was some of ur guys experience in getting nuclear?

I really love CTF. Most of the people playing the mode are absolutely horrible at it. A lot of them don't even play the objective at all, and others just blindly run around like maniacs. It's amazing how many times people will die by claymore at your flag over and over again. It's really easy to rack up the kills and get scorestreaks to help your team to victory.

I've seen a lot of the same names popping up and have started to know who is good, who isn't good, and who to avoid at all costs.

My K/D is now at 1.37. I boosted it .10 in a week and got my MSMC gold. The MSMC is an absolute beast of a gun. I started working on sniping which I'm awful at, and have been running around like a nut case with ballistic knives. A lot of fun was had this week on a game I considered dead to me just last week.

Yes it is. It's my go to SMG. The AN-94 is my go to AR and I run the KAP40 as a secondary with both. I also have one class where I run only the silenced KAP40 with 5 perks. LW, Ghost, Scavenger, Toughness, and Dexterity. Speed kills in this game.

I'm just curious how your ratio in this game compares to your ratio in the past games. My ratio was consistent through the last 2 games. In Black Ops it was 2.09 and in MW3 it was 2.08. In BLOPS2 I peaked at about 1.80 and am currently sitting at 1.70.

The funny thing is I saw way more people with better ratios than me in the last two games. Now it's a rarity to see anyone with a ratio over 2. They really seemed to do as much as they possibly could to level the playing field in this one.

So bad at this game :/ can anybody give me tips. I'm always 16-20 or 12-18 or something.

I could write a book on the things people do wrong in call of duty. Every detail matters. The class set up, the class setup pertaining to the map AND where you venture on that map, where your gun is pointed, where you are looking, when you are sprinting, when you are ADSing vs hip firing, and of course accuracy/reaction time.

First thing I recommend is lowering your sensitivity until you feel you have COMPLETE control. Too many people spaz out and shoot all over the place. Play against bots, improve your accuracy. You don't need a headshot but you really want to hit almost every bullet chest level or higher to ensure kills. Also, know the maps like the back of your hand. Spawn points, hiding places, high traffic areas.

Find your best route on every map. What I mean by that is if you are using an smg, stay in areas where you only need to shoot short dîstances, and hip fire a lot with a high fire rate smg. Smg's are not meant for long range shooting.

Keep your gun pointed at the area where the highest possible threat could emerge from. Look ahead, but watch the radar, keep your gun steady if sones be jumps out at you unexpectedly, don't panic. Slow down and aim when you go around corners.

There are plenty of class setups. You can use YouTube or take others advice. I haven't touched this game in a while so I forget a number of guns. My K/D was around a 2.0(correction: 1.74, disappointing since i since i was a 2 in BO1 and MW3)and I mostly ran AR's and SMG's such as the M8a1, AN94, Scar , m27 with a red dot, QuickDraw, and (what's the attachment that allows you to move faster while aiming? Very important(stock)or an MSMC, Vector, pdw with rapid fire, laser sight, and grip I believe.

Perks always were ghost, dexterity, engineer, and toughness. I never tested exactly how toughness affected me so I guess that could be unnecessary. Ghost keeps you off the mini map(must), dexterity allows aiming faster after sprinting(must, everyone sprints), and engineer shows all the Betty's/claymores.

My classes are built for consistency. Things like scavenger help you get longer streàks. Suppressors weaken your guns so they don't help you get the first kill, they help you avoid a death after the first kill. If you aren't getting the first kill to begin with you shouldn't be using a suppressor.

When's the next 2XP weekend? I haven't played in forever, but want to take a weekend to prestige now that I'm done with baseball for the summer. Currently 3rd prestige lvl 43 with only a little bit under 3 days play time.

For the PS3 it'll probably be at the end of next week when the map pack comes out. Not sure if the 360 gets Double XP too when that happens. If not then probably Labor Day.

If one system gets Double XP, they other system does.

So, we'll both get Double XP IF they decide to do it when the map drops.

New map packs always have some kind of double XP associated with them anymore, whether it be just general XP or weapon.
