Re: Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2
I only played this one day the other night as I rented it on redbox. But does anyone think the game is way too easy using the pistol? I wasnt even doing that great with like assault rifles then I started to mess around just using the tac-45. Here are the first 5 game results, then had like 5 more after that with around similar scores.
46-16 24 with pistol
38-16 33 with pistol
36-18 31 with pistol
29-20 24 with pistol
30-17 28 with pistol
One example of it being too easy was I got 4 kills in a short time period with the pistol, then ran out of ammo. Had to switch to my main gun which was a smg. Guy comes around the corner and at short range I shoot him a couple times and he lives. Pistol > Primary WeaponsComment

Re: Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2
Just the nature of the beast. For whatever reason the "cool" thing to do nowadays is to hate the current CoD, no matter how good or bad it is.
Personally I'm loving it so far. The lag is a little rough sometimes and I lose gunfights that I feel I should win. But I haven't had too many problems, and I am confident Treyarch will patch and fix the lag some.Comment

That may be the case for some people, but I'm actually an objective person when it comes to shooters. I play most every one of them.
What are the chances that it's not people just wanting to bash the game every year and the real problem is the same issues appear in every game.
Of course people will always find SOMETHING wrong with games, but when it's the same issues and they have two years to fix it, people have a legitimate complaint.
I won't continue to try to rain on anyone's parade and it's clear some are having a better experience than others. I'm just trying to give some insight as to how my experience with the game has gone.
I have had some matches where the server ran fine and I was outgunned several times and I actually still enjoyed the match. On the flip side, the horrible hit detection and lag comp. in other rounds offsets any of those fun rounds I have had.Comment

Re: Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2
Finally got to sit down and play this for a couple of hours today. My initial thoughts is that I like this a lot more than I did the first Black Ops or Modern Warfare 3. The multiplayer maps that I've seen so far have been very solid and the campaign has gotten off to a nice start. The cruise ship level definitely reminded me a of a similar map on one of the Rainbow Six games. Between this and Halo 4 I should have a decent little shooter rotation going.Comment

Personally I like using the type 25 or Scar w/ just iron sights and maybe select fire or the fore grip.
Bouncing Bettys I am loving this year, they seemed kind of weak in MW3.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Re: Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2
I rarely check kill cams but I was getting so frustrated the other night so I was watching them and guys are shooting at me before I even show up in their screen. Call me a ****ty player, fine, but I've been playing since COD4 and I know something's not right. And apparently I'm not the only one. If you don't have this problem consider yourself lucky.Comment

Re: Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2
I just played one game of it. It seems like it could be fun, I didn't enjoy it though simply because I was playing with 1 friend and two of his other friends who did nothing but brag about how good they are the whole game, despite being slightly above average at best.
As far as the gameplay, it was okay, not as much of a challenge as I thought it would be, we stomped them. It felt just like a regular pub match. Maybe once you level your team up or whatever it gets better and harder though.Comment

Ok...so now people are purposely hating on poor old Call of Duty. I understand that were not suppose to have opinions now I guess. It's such a shame that people can't see how lazy this series has gotten. Why don't we have dedicated servers yet? Why do they try to make the terrible players better and the better players worse? Why do they consistently change things that are good and leave bad things? Why do I suffer for having good internet? And why do people continue to back this game up and say we 're just trying to find the wrongs with the game when there IS things wrong with it. Open your eyes and play Battlefield. That is a shooting game. Activision has gotten selfish and focused on catering to making bad players have the advantage or good connections have a disadvantage.

Re: Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2
Yeah man, I completely understand the people who have legit gripes about the game. People who complain about things that are actually issues(Lag compensation, really overpowered stuff like mw2 tubes, glitches, hackers, etc.) do not bother me at all, I understand where they come from and I'm usually complaining right along with em.That may be the case for some people, but I'm actually an objective person when it comes to shooters. I play most every one of them.

It's the people that search as hard as they can to find a reason to hate the game. Every time they die they make an excuse that it was a guy camping with ghost, or a gun is overpowered, or sniping is way too easy, etc. Those guys that complain about every little thing bug me. And as soon as what they complain about gets patched, they search until they find another minor annoyance in the game and complain about that as well. Those are the people I was referring to.Comment

Re: Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and it's good to get different viewpoints from different people on games. I think that's what makes this forum so great. I have bought games before I never would have because of the reviews of guys here.Ok...so now people are purposely hating on poor old Call of Duty. With CoD you know what you are going to get. If you enjoy one you will most likely enjoy the next. I am enjoying this but maybe it's because the game is making me (a bad player with bad internet) have the advantage over the great players with great internet. I don't know, but I'm doing well and having fun in the process.
I haven't played single player yet but people seem to be really high on the story of this CoD and I look forward to getting into it sometime next week.
The negative reviews generally become the most productive ones. If enough people see the same issue those issues can be patched or fixed in the long run. The problem is the people who have issues generally don't outweigh the people who don't have issues with the same things, but they are the most vocal about it. It's why sometimes things get changed in games that most people don't see an issue with, because the few that do have an issue are the most vocal.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights
