I got my receipt at ten, past times I've gone in at 11:50 and out by 12:05, not tonight, I left to Walmart and came back to gamestop by 10:45, no parking spots at all, lines out the door. I was in group 11, and I live in the country in Northern Illinois.

I got home close to 12:45, (living 5 minutes from Gamestop) so yeah it's packed. So far, having fun.

Maps have solid level design. Good variety. Also the color tone and lighting looks more impressive then the last mw imo.

Failing objectives might result in new or more challenging missions rather than a restart screen. It’s a brilliant riff on the traditional Call of Duty campaign design, and, combined with the additional cutscenes that flesh out the story, creates a narrative worth replaying just to see the wildly different moments and endings. Most importantly, choice makes you apart of what you play; it’s not just a story, it’s your story. I may not have found the ending of my first playthrough satisfying because terrible things happened, but I appreciated that it was a direct byproduct of my actions.

Before you get too excited, read some other reviews than 9GN. Too much money being handled around that site for me to ever take them seriously.

Multiplayer is king in Black Ops 2, offering plenty of in-game and inherent rewards for its ravenous online community. It's paired with a lackluster story that fails the ambition shown by the branching campaign, reflecting the overall game's forward-thinking but imperfectly executed ideas. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 isn't the best or most charming entry in the franchise, then, but it takes risks, exploring more than is strictly required for an inevitably annual franchise.

I'm still in. The campaign sounds really cool to me, and the tweaks and changes to multiplayer sound fantastic.... plus zombies

I loved Black Ops and skipped MW3, so I'm all over this.

I guess we could post good reviews and you could post lesser reviews all day in this thread. Not quite sure what the point is. It's cool if you aren't interested in the game. There's enough out there right now for everyone.

Not sure where you got that... LOL But okay. I stated to look at other reviews than just 9GN based on their history.

I'm picking up the game later today, just not super excited for it as I hoped I would be.

Game is alot better than i expected...so far havent see any outrageous killstreak BS (although i know its coming). Coming from BF3 these guns have ZERO recoil to them. Still its basically a twitch shooter but IMO better than MW3 which was crap.


I guess because i havent played a COD game in almost a year the game actually feels fresh. One thing i dont like is the constant talking by other player in the lobbies etc...i need to find out ho to mute EVERYONE

Halo 4 was my first Halo playing online and i just couldnt get into it...the whole invisible suit, and floating jump, space armor thing i just couldnt get into. Not saying this is better but so far i've enjoyed it more than i did Halo 4. I didnt have the WTF is this reaction like i did with H4
