I do not think that word means what you think that it means.

so far my biggest issue is that knifing doesn't seem to work unless you're perfectly lined up and right next to a person. Which I can understand is probably more realistic, it's just not how I'm used to it being with COD.

Everything else seems to be standard COD fare and I'm enjoying myself, even though I'm garbage at the game.

No I do, I forgot to put other in front of it.

Anyway, like I said, I'm glad others are enjoying their purchase, but there is definitely some buyers remorse over here.

It's not a groundbreaking or overwhelming game, but so far it has been fun for me. It seems to be a bit smoother than some of the past Call of Duty games.

I played several rounds of Zombies with some friends from the BF3 community. We did very well and explored most of the Tranzit area. The game mode is fun and they did change a few things, but it still becomes stale quickly.

Maybe not for you but my issues online cleared up within days as with most games that I have had problems with.

I always loved using handguns, but in all previous CoD games they were like little pea shooters that were only effective w/ a headshot.

A gun is a gun, therefore a handgun should be able to kill too.

I am loving a setup w/ using a secondary pistol and adding a reflex sight to it. I may even use wildcards to have two secondary attachments once I unlock some more pistol attachments.

I am loving my overkill and MP7 classes the most.

Is Nuketown 2025 available on the Marketplace as a separate purchase? I want that map when I go online tomorrow but I didn't pre-order.

Can somebody explain what care packages do? I hear them getting dropped, but what do they do?

Also can the UAV detect you when you're indoors?

Care packages are airdropped goodies. It can be anything from low killstreak rewards like UAVs and RC-XDs to the big chopper gunners and dogs. UAVs can detect you anywhere.

I dont know, I usually get pretty PO'd about hit detection and lag..etc, but the games hit detection has been pretty solid so far. I think some things people are experiencing boils down to losing one on ones.

For example, I was using the Mtar a lot at first and crushing lower skilled players in one on ones, but the higher skilled guys were just owning me. It felt like they were getting the drop on me, but it was never that maddening -"he rounded a corner and killed me so fast!!" type of MW3 rage.

I realized a lot of them were using SMGs, which are lethal up close and I set up an mp7 class. got my red dot and silencer and started having much bigger rounds. The thing about Treyarch games is that there is a style of play that just works on their builds. It basically is a silenced SMG with a speed perk setup. You can run with other setups too, but this one seems to just always get me the most kills on most maps.

I still have an Mtar setup and a Type 25 as well because some maps just work better for long distance shooting (drone, the aircraft carrier one as well).

But basically this is what I am using for now - mp7, silencer, red dot, fast clip. cold blooded, lightweight, dexterity.

I find lightweight and dexterity to be extremely solid perks.

Anyway, I guess my point is that so far this game plays like COD, but I don't have the same issues with the maps as MW3, the lag, and the hit detection is not perfect, but it is very much like WaW, which equates into a very nice fast twitching shooter for me.

When the carepackages are dropped can anyone access them or just the person who called them?

You can even steal them from another team, but it takes longer.
