Didn't get to play at all yesterday, but from my time Tuesday multiplayer was very smooth didn't notice any lag or terrible hit detection. And that is coming from a week straight of Halo, good sign.

Something clicked last night and I started to "get it" with this game. Day one my K/D was like .9 Last night every game I was 1.5-3.0 K/D and am up to 1.5 overall now. I was top 3 just about every game I played.

I had never used the scorestreak things before lol, didn't know how. So last night I did for the first time. And since you guys told me what care packages are I stole the other teams last night and used it against them.

I also found a sweet custom setup that I just seemed to do well with.

Loving this game now that I have a clue! There is SO many modes, so much to unlock, and then the campaign. Agreed it's a steal for $60.

The PS3 servers were so crappy yesterday. Me and Chase and Zodiac tried playing a few rounds and the lag was just atrocious.

I'm talking just seeing a guy running in place, shooting all my bullets at him, and then flails all weird about 5 seconds later and dies, lots of rubber banding, etc

There was a guy on the other team that went like 30-10, and no one else on either team was close, so either he was really good, or he was the only one NOT lagging in the whole server

I've been having less lag when i choose "Best Connection" in the search preferences. It seems like when it was on normal, i was a half of second behind people. Now that it's on best, I feel like its more of an even playing field/

This is absolutely unacceptable. I didn't buy this game so I could sit in the lobby, waiting for it to load the game.

I've been having less lag when i choose "Best Connection" in the search preferences. It seems like when it was on normal, i was a half of second behind people. Now that it's on best, I feel like its more of an even playing field/

Good to see it has actually worked for someone. I hope I have the same luck.

Last night I was seriously contemplating trading this game in. The online experience has been unbearable for me.

Worked for me as well. I was winning firefights when I should. I drop shot a lot and was always getting killed before I hit the ground. Really noticed a difference. Takes a bit longer to find a game though.

That's fine, I'll wait a little a longer to play in a game where I'm not immediately at a disadvantage before I even start.

I want to get rewarded for being the better player, not punished because of my connection.

For me (and when playing alone or with another person in the party), the added time it takes to find a match is insignificant. Instead of taking 5 seconds, it takes 10 seconds.

I can't comment on how much longer it takes for a full party as i haven't done that yet

Is anyone else getting raped by the point streaks air support...some games it feels like i cant even take a step or i will get smoked by a helicopter or something its crazy!

Man, I was doing turrible last night when we were playing. I haven't played that bad in any sort of shooter in a long long time.

You're right though, I couldn't even spawn sometimes without being destroyed by air support. I should have called it quits after that first horrible round. I hate objective modes where the other team spends their time camping objectives, but won't try to capture them ever.

We won a few rounds where our team looked horrible, but we just played the objective and the other team didn't. People only worrying about their KDR.

My main gripe seems to be the same as it usually is.. the guns feel about the same to me with little to no recoil..

I always select "best connection" or whatever and have never had a laggy game. Im impressed at how smooth the whole thing runs actually. And now that I know what I'm doing a little it's seriously addicting.

I'm going to try the 'best' search preferences. I've found that I lose a lot of fights I should be winning, and honestly I think the reasoning behind it is very valid to the video. I used to win those types of fights before I got my cable Internet. Now I'm frequently the host of the game and feel that actually hurts my game. I've actually contemplated letting my computer download files while I play online in an effort to steal bandwidth from my network.

They need to get it together and hire better programmers.
It will not start a game in Team Death Match on the PS3 as it keeps "searching for more players" even though there are 12 people in the lobby.

Patch coming for you soon according to Treyarc. They are fixing it.

Super annoying though, I know.
