I was thinking about getting Half Life for my new XP PC I just got. But the problem is, I don't think the gane supports Windows XP. I was looking at on auction on E-Bay for "Half Life Game Of The Year Edition" and it said that XP wasn't supported. Does anyone know if the game will run on it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have never played Half Life on a computer that runs XP so I can say 100% that the below is correct, yet I can't see why Half Life would not run with XP. I know way too may people wiht XP who play Counterstrike.
You might just be reading the minimum requirements...
Windows® 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT 4.0
The game is pretty old, even the GOTY Edition is so old that XP was not even out at the time of release.
But if you look at the Half-Life Platinum Edition 2, it shows to support XP.

Yeah it sure does. But I was just planning on getting the regular only hoping to spend $15-$20. I'll just call Sierra and ask them. Thanks for the help though!

I found it on Amazon the post you listted the Platinum edition one for under $20. I'll probabily just get that instead and get all those games instead of just one. Thanks the help BDiTTy!
