    Name that game

I had this idea for a thread to help us remember titles to games we have played in the past but have forgotten.

The one game I would like to find is an SNES game. Its set in space. You could pick a boy or girl. I think the difference is cosmetic. I also remember a robot dog. And you would travel to different planets. The view was isometric and I seem to remember being able to choose weapons before starting missions. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Doesn't sound like anything I've ever played. I searched google and came up with Secrets of Evermore. That might be it.

I'd like to find an SNES game too. You controlled a fighter jet. The game moved at a constant pace vertically. Similar to Star Fox but the view was more from the top. You could pick your special weapon before the start of every level. I think you could pick each weapon only once? There was a boss battle (usually a huge airship of sorts) at the end of every level.

Ya, like Antec said, I'm sure it's Secret of Evermore. Good and pretty rare game. I think only one part of it was set in space. I remember the kid would quote fake movies, (like I think he was a B movie fan maybe).

I didn't think you could choose genders in 'Evermore', though. And the robot dog was only in the future world. The game started off with him as a big wolf type, and then as you went to different time periods the dog would change forms.

Great game, by the way, and severely underrated because it was developed by Square North America.

It def wasn't Secret of Evermore. I wish I could remember more of it. Seems like the enemies were cookie cutter generic enemies.
