But if he is Native American, like the article is suggesting, then we are talking about further back in time split in the bloodline that predates Ezio or Altiar (and yes I know they aren't related either). I'm just kinda brainstorming because I don't want AC3 to be the end of the franchise.

 Re: Assassin's Creed III

Looks like the guy has a half mask or something going.

In any case, the bloodline will be interesting. Ezio and Altair are from different bloodlines. I'm trying to think out possible scenarios but it's making my head hurt.

Edit: Weird, the article just said Altair was Ezio's ancestor. Nevermind about that, perhaps the AC wiki is just wrong.Comment

 Re: Assassin's Creed III

More likely that one of Ezio's great great great grand kids went to America as a colonial and shagged a Native American woman who had the protagonist. I'm gonna bank that this new descendent is only half Indian. If this is accurate then we are following a bloodline split that happened way before even the first AC events no? I mean aren't Native Americans most likely decendants of people that originated in Asia and traveled over the ice bridge between Alaska and Russia? That means this could be followed up by a new series of games that chronical events in China, Japan etc.

Yea, I'm a little confused myself now. I always thought Ezio was not a decendants of Altiar. But Desmond is a decendants of Ezio. I'm getting a headache.Looks like the guy has a half mask or something going.

 Re: Assassin's Creed III

I just looked through the wiki in the biographies of Ezio, Altair, and Desmond and I cannot find the tidbit where the lead writer said that Desmond is a descendent of both Ezio and Altair, but Ezio and Altair are not from the same bloodline. Maybe it was retracted.Comment

 Re: Assassin's Creed III

They didn't reference it any in the story and I would think they would have if they were directly related.

 Re: Assassin's Creed III

I saw a video interview to that effect. That's definitely right. It's what makes Desmond special and is why the Templars want him. Ezio and Altair each have thousands of ancestors but only Desmond has the memories of both. His parents are each a descendent of one them.Comment

There is no place like Nebraska,
 Where they're all true blue.
 We'll all stick together,
 In all kinds of weather,
