    Gameplay will be shown soon.

PSA: We've just been informed that Ubisoft will be live streaming Assassin's Creed III gameplay footage at 11pm BST/6pm EST. So about an hour and a half away.

The ever awesome Frag Dolls will be hosting the event over on twitch.tv. Their PAX coverage starts in about 30 minutes. (10pm BST/5pm EST) You can get there via the link provided.

I don't suppose any of you are excited about this though...
    Hehe!

    Enjoy guys,

      Re: Assassin's Creed III

      Nice job guys...

It seems that there may have been some confusion over the Assassin's Creed III gameplay stream. We were informed that it would take place over on the Frag Dolls twitch.tv channel, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

We're working on finding out what's going on. We'll keep you posted.

      Sorry for the confusion guys,

        Not happening at all now.

Assassin's Creed Wiki It seems a few Games journos got a little too excited and went crazy spreading this info around. It would look like our initial presumptions were correct. No gameplay footage for us until after PAX. :'( *Throws tantrum* Sorry again guys. Also... SANTA IS NOT REAL! :O

I can imagine showing up at a battle, running through the Red Coat lines in search of the general in charge, only to tomahawk him off his horse and escape with it

So I really wanted to like the first AC but I got throught about 8 hours and I started to fall asleep everytime I had to travel. I was busy back then so it was hard to come back to because I didn't remember where I was in the story.

My question is did AC2 and AC2.5 drastically improve from AC1? I really want to like this series but I just don't know if the next installments were big enough improvements to jump back in.

Once again AC3 looks great but I can't past the first one.

HAH! I felt the same way though I couldn't get passed one hour...my brother told me just to skip AC and go straight to 2 and you really wouldn't miss much. AC2 and brotherhood are way more engaging than the original. That OCD part of you will enjoy/hate AC2 and Brotherhood.

I just recently finished Brotherhood and currently playing through Revelations...

I still love the characters and setting in the first AC. The repetitive nature of information gathering is really the only thing that I really hated. Of course comparing the first game to the rest of the series a lot of things aren't going to be as polished (stiff(er) controls, less fluid combat and character control, etc). I still like going back to this game just to kill some Templars, though.

Traveling was fixed after the first one. You could use tunnels that would allow you to get from area to area.
