Re: Assassin's Creed III
I tried to pre-order but I'm just confused. 7 different editions.
Since I'm Canadian I don't need giant American flag and can't use a belt buckle on snowboard pants but want the book, either way on the statue. Don't really want a statue of a character I have no idea if I'll like. The ones I actually want appear to only be available in the UK. Regular it is I guess.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed III
Today Ubisoft formally announced the Assassin's Creed 3 Season Pass for the game's downloadable content. They also went one step further and announced "The Tyranny Of King Washington," a portion of the DLC that will be released for the game post-launch.
"King Washington" is a new single-player campaign that will be released over three DLC packs. It centers around an alternate history of the American Revolution. In this new timeline, George Washington decides to become king of the American colonies instead of establishing a democracy. It's up to Connor to overthrow this new dictator.
The Season Pass will give PC/PS3/Xbox 360 players access to five DLC packs in total. The other two add-ons will presumably be related to multiplayer. Ubisoft says that they have new characters and maps planned for online play.
GameStop and Best Buy are now accepting pre-orders of the Season Pass. You can also buy it directly through Xbox Live or PSN for $29.99 when the game launches. It's said to be 25% cheaper than buying all of the DLC individually.
Ubisoft states that the Season Pass DLC will arrive within six months of the game's launch. Furthermore, Season Pass owners will get their hands on the first DLC a week before everyone else.
There's no mention of a Season Pass for the Wii U versions of AC3. Ubisoft merely states that all of the game's DLC will be available for that console as well.
And that picture of George Washington is bad ***.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed III
They need to release a poster-sized version of that picture. Hopefully the DLC is actually good cause they haven't done a great job with DLC for the other games. It sounds like this one should be huge so that's good.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed III
As a newcomer to this series, will the mp be harsh and unwelcoming? I have heard ACRs community is almost moba-esque. It seems like this will be fun but I dont want to be stressed out trying to learn. Now playing
too much

Re: Assassin's Creed III
From the MP I've played in the past two versions of the game, it's has a moderate to steep learning curve. A lot of strategy is involved in the way you play and the classes you use.Xbox LIVE GT: oALEXtheGREATo
