Has anyone else completed all the north Boston Mission, yet can't liberate that section of the city? That is all I really have left to do, before I advance the story and yet I can't figure out how to do it.

Thanks for that post, chicagopax. I'm not terribly far into the game (seq 5) but seeing, and wondering about, some of the things you mentioned. Kind of disappointing to hear things don't change much. Maybe a patch will clean some of that up. Still a beautiful game though. I love the scenery and running around in the wilderness.MLB: Cincinnati Reds

I've loved every bit of these first few sequences. In fact, those alone are already the best AC game I've already played, lol.Comment

Yea, I brought this up a couple of pages ago. I'm gonna keep playing through Sequence 10 and see if it will unlock after that. After that, there are only two more sequences to go and I would like to get those last two assassin recruits."If you have a linebacker on him, you might as well start singing their fight song." -- WSU coach Bill Doba on Reggie Bush

Re: Assassin's Creed III
I'm headed into Section 6 and so far I have been unimpressed. The story itself has been SLOW so far and the advancement of characters has been almost minimal.
I have noticed a bunch of little bugs and glitches also. Nothing game ruining so far, but just small things that make the game look unfinished/un-polished.
Overall I'm going to sit and try to enjoy it even though part of me wants to return it for something else.Last edited by Phobia; 11-05-2012, 10:48 AM.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed III
The game would be easier to get into if Connor had any personality depth at all. He's too damn serious. Might've seen him smile once or twice.
But there's so many fun things in the game to do I don't mind. The frontier parkour is addicting. Especially when I'm evading redcoats. I wonder if you can air assassinate a bear...
Anyway I'm really getting the hang of the naval battle missions. Having some trouble earning money though. Seems I really need to earn money, they don't just randomly give it to you for completing story missions.Comment

Re: Assassin's Creed III
Funny to see the differing views... I couldn't even make it through the last games, but this title has me completely engulfed. The graphics, the fludity of the parkour and fighting, the time setting... IMO it's all amazingly done. Everything about this game completely pulls me in, in near RDR fashion.Comment

I am one of the few who quit on AC III.
RDR had a much tighter narrative and it delivered on what the consumer was expecting, only throwing in a twist after you were completely tied to the game.Comment

SpoilerCan't remember the exact details but I thought they just picked up their conversation again after I moved in between the two people standing off to the side. Not sure why that wouldn't have happened with you. Have seen some glitchy things in the game at times though.Battle.net: xXKING08Xx

Just tracked and killed my first bear. Took to the high ground, hit him with an arrow, then did an air assault for the final kill.Moderator

Re: Assassin's Creed III
A friend owes me a game and I was considering this. Only thing is I haven't played any in the series. Should I start here or from the beginning?Comment
