RPG like........

the HBO series Game of Thrones? Hey guys,I'm mad hooked on The Game of Thrones series on HBO,and was just wondering if a game is out there like this at all.
I do have Skyrim,and while an awesome game,for some reason it doesn't have the "it" factor like I'm looking for.

I do know that there is a Game of Thrones game that is coming out,but based on the vids I've seen,I don't think the combat will appeal to me.

I was looking at a couple of games....Dark Souls and Dragon Age 2....would either of these (iyo) be closer to Game of Thrones?

Any input will be greatly appreciated

I havent seen the show however I do know that The Witcher 2 is one of the best RPG's I have played. Combat is nice and strategic while the story retains the down to earth darkness of its world with a little humor.

Forgot to mention that I don't have an Xbox,or I probably would have picked that one up.

Yeah I should have noticed that under you avatar. Lol. You could try Demon Souls or Dark Souls just remember to have a back up controller so when you break your first you have a back up...lol.

I doubt you are going to find anything that even comes close and that includes the Game of Thrones game that is coming out.

That's kinda what I was afraid of,was just hoping that there may be something that I overlooked.

If you did have an Xbox I would recommend The Witcher 2 since it more closely fits the GoT brand of dark fantasy with a lot of political struggle. Nothing else that really comes to mind though. Dark Souls really doesn't have much of a story, the reward there is mastering the challenging combat system.

Well... Dark Souls is really nothing like Game of Thrones.

But it and Demon's Souls are both awesome.

Man if you are looking for an RPG try Dragon Age. You can get it very cheap these days and it is fantastic. Search the forum and you can find a huge thread gushing with love about the game.

Dragon Age Origins!...Starts off a little slow and the Graphics,Controls & Animations are not great...but the story i found quite good!..
I found it had a real Lord of The Rings feel,But its probably the closest to Game Of Thrones!

Dragon Age 2 was the opposite tighter controls,more fluid animations but just didnt suck me in as much as Origins,Wasn't bad..just was hoping for alot more after how good Origins was!...Just my thoughts tho!

I also have recently played The Witcher 2 seems real good has a Medi-Evil type of feel.

After my post yesterday it got my Dragon Age juices flowing. I ordered DA Origins preowned from BBY. It's only 4.99. I threw it in with the current B2G1 with a couple other games so I ended up with DA and 2 other games (Darksiders and OS favorite CH2K8) for only 10 bucks.
