I just tried to buy twilight zone and star trek on the PS4 but it said the content was no longer for sale... What is up with that?

Just saw this, sorry for the late response.

Several tables did this to me when I got a couple of the table packs, but it cleared up a short time after. If you still can't access them make sure you're going to the "My Tables" part of the main menu to actually play them - you only buy them from the first couple menus. They're supposed to disappear off the season menus after you buy them, but again, it seems to take some time for that purchase to register.

That said, one of them - Phantom of The Opera - is still doing that to me a week later. I'm trying to find out what's going on with that - it's possible the table hasn't released on PS4 yet (I bought the "Season Pass" which means I'll get the newest tables as they come out.

In other news, I finished all the challenges - even the Season One challenge that includes EVERY table featured in those first three. And even though a lot of the targets are easy to reach, a run of bad luck on one table can still end you. Black Knight almost got me both on the Williams Challenge AND the Season One, the latter of which would have been excruciating as it came near the end.

So is the game free on Xbox one and you pay for tables? What do tables cost?

First, a disclaimer - I don't know exactly what TPA's status on the 360/One is. I do know that Farsight ran into a lot of legal problems bringing it to those systems though. All I can comment on are PS/PC.

Yes, the base game is free and you pay for the tables, either individually or as a season pack (although I think one table is free with the download, not sure which). Individual packs are either 1 or 2 tables. Those are $5 per pack.

Season packs contain all of the tables released over a period of time and cost $30. The number of tables varies a bit - Season 1 had 18, 2 had 17 and 3 had 10. They're different because several of the season 1 and 2's individual packs were 2 tables - one well-known one and one lesser-known, older one. Season 3 was basically all later tables.

It's microtranaction-y, for sure - but this is the kind I don't mind, new tables as they're developed. And, if that does still bother you , I think they offer a physical media version for Season 1 as well, with the other seasons to come later.

Nah, i don't mind those micro transactions. You pay for what you get, seems fair. Might check out the free stuff and see if I like it or not. Remember some of these fun tables from when i was younger.

              Thanks for the answers!

For me it is different... I haven't bought them yet but I am trying to buy them and I get that message. Guess they don't want my money. This is on the PS4 by the way.

FarSight will be streaming their TAF table today at 3:00 PST.

Twitch is the world's leading video platform and community for gamers.

TAF has now been released for basically everything besides the consoles (no date, but those always come later).

Saw a tweet from one of the developers that it takes a few weeks because of the approval process. I expect it too be out by this time next month.

Addams Family has been released on the Sony systems, and here's my first (extremely poor) game of it on PS4. Complete with a massive trolling by The Power at the end:

Games like this are why I lost so many quarters to this damn machine. I will have my revenge now, though!

Bumping for news of my favorite table of all-time to hit the Arcade. For most people it's TAF, but for me....

This probably took them a while to get because of licensing with ZZ Top (a digital "La Grange" is the background music for this table).

Already out on Steam, iOS, and Android. I'm waiting for PS4, where I already have it bought as a part of Season 4.
