The flying in general is terrible, that includes all characters and vehicles. I've gotten a lot better, but sometimes I still can't land on top of a building. Getting those gold bricks in the head of the big lego men will make you want to chunk the controller at the tv.

Re: Lego Batman 2 DC Heroes
I beat the story last night. Pretty straight forward, but I liked how it played out. It was fun and pretty funny throughout. I liked how the story tied into the gameplay. Teasing you with Supes and then pulling the rug out was a nice way to keep you playing so you could play him full strength again.
I haven't explored around Gotham too much, but I'm glad I waited until after the story to do so. Driving around Gotham without the Batmobile just felt wrong. I've done a couple gold bricks and I really like how they've incorporated the platforming aspects of the gameplay into the open-world map.
This is the first game I have actually completed this year.

Re: Lego Batman 2 DC Heroes
Anybody else finished this yet? I'm just going around trying to unlock everything. At the very least I want to unlock all the characters. I wish the HUD was a little clearer on what the symbols are and what direction you're going, but Gotham itself is pretty easy to maneuver around. I really dig the Batman/Robin suit specific gold blocks. Those have been pretty fun scaling the buildings with them.
Does anybody know what characters/types of characters are required in order to go through the free play levels and be able to unlock everything? I've already been through a coupe of them twice, but going through a third or fourth time would probably suck the fun right out of this game.

I'm making my way through the open world getting all the gold and red bricks and citizens. Then I'll do the free play levels. In the open world the characters you need for everything are Batman, Robin, Superman, Lex, Joker, Riddler, Aquaman, and Flash (that I've seen so far). Maybe those are the ones required for Free Play as well.Anybody else finished this yet? I'm just going around trying to unlock everything. At the very least I want to unlock all the characters. Re: Lego Batman 2 DC Heroes
Where do you unlock Aquaman?
Edit: Damn, so thats how the gold lego doors work. I think I'm one or two gold bricks short of being able to unlock him anyway.

Re: Lego Batman 2 DC Heroes
I think Lex, Joker, Riddler, Ivy, and Aquaman are the only ones that are needed that you don't get by just finishing the game. There are others that allow you not to have to use the suits, but you always have access to the suits during the levels if needed.
The only suits that can't be replaced by a character are the Robin ball and Batman electric(Joker can't move through electricity).Comment

Re: Lego Batman 2 DC Heroes
Anyone get all gold on the Justice League missions for the Vita? It's all I need to do till platinum but need a walkthrough or tips. Any advice?Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Lego Batman 2 DC Heroes
Thanks, Brett. I was checking out walkthroughs on my phone last night but couldn't get anything to come up for the Justice League stuff. Just sporadic posts here and there. And considering I was chillin in bed (vita plug) I wasn't going to get up and go into the kitchen to look on our PC. I'll check out the 411. Hopefully have this one done soon. Just in time for FIFA to come out. </p>
Madden's next. I may hit you up for some help on that in the near future...Depends on what I can get against the CPU.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon.
