    Re: Cyberpunk 2077

Just finished watching the entire 48 minute video. Looks amazing and the shooting looks great and I love the destruction in the game. With that said, except for the end, there wasn't any melee combat which when it comes to first person games, it's usually crap. I have never played a game in first person that had excellent melee combat. I want to see more melee combat as that's my main concern regarding the perspective.

Seeing the camera behind the car when driving also makes me wonder how it would look in third person. Wish it was like Fallout/TES where you could play it in either perspective.

I noticed that there's a compass at the top of the screen meaning it replaced the mini-map which while hopefully being able to turn it off, I prefer a mini-map. Also, not a fan of the character creation. Will always prefer a preset character with a background and history that's already established.

Other than that, I was very impressed but it is CRPR and if there's one game/publisher that could surpass TW3, it's Cyberpunk 2077 and CDPR.

Multiple mission paths, being able to choose your own upgrades body/gun wise sounds nice.

Doesn't the character have a background and history that is established? I thought the character customization was cosmetics only?

A bit yes but you can choose some history. I'm guessing he wants it to be more like The Witcher where everything is already set in stone.

Ahh, if it showed that I wasn't paying full attention at the start. I had the video on another monitor and was glancing over at first.

Yeah, this 100%. Want to see more but who am I kidding? It's a day one purchase. LOL. CDPR gave me my 2015 game of the year and still the generation's best game which considering that TW3 was the first game I ever played from CDPR, it's pretty damn impressive. CDPR is basically a younger fresher version of Rockstar but for RPG's. One classic every half decade which is perfectly good with me.

Thought of this earlier today. The game is playable from beginning to end. Microsoft has the marketing deal for the game. I'm expecting Microsoft to launch Xbox 4 earlier than Sony launches PlayStation 5. Now stay with me. Think about it. Xbox 4 March 2020 with Cyberpunk 2077 as a launch title!!!

This is why im already preparing for next gen. LMAO!!!

Read today that you will be able to toggle on/off various aspects of your HUD like floating damage on enemies. I think you can kind of justify damage markers being in, call it some kind of cybernetic eye implant, but it's still pretty cool that they are allowing players a clean experience.

One of my favorite things about The Witcher 3 is the amount of HUD control you have and that the game doesn't become unplayable if you remove too much HUD. Some games give you the options, but don't have any features that don't make it cumbersome to try and navigate through the game. The Witcher allows you to tune so many little aspects you can get as clean of a look as you want while not being completely lost in the game.

The game looks absolutely stunning, fps+rpg+deep story! my type of game. I just hope the graphics don't get down graded by release.

Man, I always kind of know what to expect on games I’m going to buy, and I maintain my hype levels most of the time. I rarely get let down to be honest because I can tell when a game will be good, bad or anywhere in between, as most of us half way intelligent gamers can.

But holy, freaking crap. This game could be the greatest game of all time.

Depending on how much Read Dead 2 wows me, there is a potential for CD Projekt Red, with The Witcher 3 and now, Cyberpunk 2077, to have what I consider to be the two greatest video games of all time. That just blows my mind. What a company!

I didn't even watch any of the gameplay demo. When the game releases sometime in the next 2 1/2 years, I'm going to buy it and that's that.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.
