Snagged it last night on Amazon for 29.99 along with Dishonored for 25 bucks. Free shipping, PS3.

Can't wait to play this game with my son. We have played all of the lego games except Pirates and Harry Potter (have the first Harry Potter but can't get into it).

We also want to get Batman 2 which looks great.

Bought it blind for $30 off Amazon but the demo is out now so will check that out and hope the kids like it. Game is a Christmas gift so they won't be getting that just yet.

Receieved my copy yesterday from amazon (29.99 free shipping) and wrapped it for my son. We love the Lego games and this one looks like it will be the best one yet.

Our rankings for Lego games we own:

            1) Star Wars The Complete Saga

            2) Batman

            3) Star Wars The Clone Wars

            4) Indiana Jones The Original Trilogy

            5) Harry Potter Years 1-4

We do not have Pirates, nor Batman 2 (which looks awesome as well).

            LOTR looks amazing.

My Amazon order just showed up today. I love the LEGO games I've played in the past. Haven't played the Pirates or Harry Potter games though. I might wait to fire it up until after I'm done with AC3.

Lego Pirates is my favourite of all of them. Definitely something you should get for cheap now.

What's the hub world like on this? Is it a giant map like in Batman 2, or is it more like the school in the Harry Potter game or the hub city in Pirates?

Open world, you can walk from one end to the other end, no hub.

Just played the demo with my son. It's a pretty quick play through with two sections for the most part. It definitely has a feel of the Pirates game as you have more than two in your group (although you can only use have two players in co-op). The way you have more weapons to choose from and more players to choose from during play is fun. I also like how the characters interact and are used together. The ability to have more people in your party means you don't have to constantly put on annoying suits like the Lego Batman games and each character is more interesting and useful with their own role(s).

I'm not a LOTR fan. The movies weren't for me but this game could be a lot of fun. Glad I picked it up for Christmas.

I played the demo with my roommate and we had a great time playing. I would have gotten it right then and there, but $50 is way too much. He's looking into getting it for the 360. Maybe I'll get it later when it gets cheaper.
