This game is Splinter Cell. If you liked past versions, you will like this as well. Polished game with nice visuals and solid gameplay. Having a blast so far. Even if it is short, this is worth it and could still get decent trade credit toward something upcoming, so I do not see this as $60 wasted.

I definitely just took 85 minutes to complete a 65 minute mission.
And somehow my play style was Ghost though I mostly felt I was Panther.
Regardless, it's classic Splinter Cell. Enjoying it.

Re: Splinter Cell: Blacklist
If anyone wants to play coop hit me up on PSN- Exogenesis1122.
This game is a ton of fun playing with other people, so I would love to give it a go with some fellow OSers. I don't have a headset, so communication is a bit difficult, but I didn't have any problems playing last night and had some really good success.Comment

Re: Splinter Cell: Blacklist
I'm love what I'm hearing with these classic Splinter Cell comments. I wasn't sold enough on it to purchase it straight up, but I decided to Gamefly it. It should be here in a day or two.
Anyone have any feedback on the online components of the game? Spies vs. Mercs used to be so much fun on Xbox.Comment

Re: Splinter Cell: Blacklist
For those of you that bought this title who weren't necesssarily a fan of Conviction can you say that this title feels more like Chaos Theory and really promotes the options for stealth? On the fence with this one.Last edited by NINJAK2; 08-21-2013, 10:08 PM.EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

Splinter Cell: Blacklist
There's tons of things to unlock and customize towards your style of play. Do you want to just charge in with grenades and a powerful but loud assault rifle and mess stuff up with a suit that has a lot of armor with extra ammo but little stealth? You can do that or you can go in with stick charges, sticky cameras, silenced pistol and sniper with a electric bolt crossbow and a suit with low armor but high stealth with extra pockets to hold extra gadgets.
Also each area has a lot of unique stuff to do whether it's go high on top if buildings, on the street and occasionally underground.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Re: Splinter Cell: Blacklist
I'm loving this game. It definitely has that old school SC feel to it. I really liked Conviction, but this game is better imo. As far as the length, im doing all of the side missions on "realistic" difficulty and it's taking some time.
The only negative to me is that they couldn't bring back Michael Ironside. Sam Fisher doesn't feel right without him. but heck different actors worked with James Bond too.Comment

I also like what Ubisoft did with the customization. Yes it has a very Cod-Battlefield feel to it, but hey its fun building up your points for upgrades. You can customize your entire suit from the goggles all the way down to boots that emphasize stealth or flak jackets that give you more armor. The way they did the cockpit of the plane was also a nice touch.
Idk, it just feels more polished. With Conviction they took such a long time trying to find direction on what they wanted the game to be. Blacklist feels refined, and a true Splinter Cell game. Yes Ironside isn't there but I've gotten used to the new voice. I'm fine with it and I'm sure others will too for the next go around.Huge Fan of the New Orleans Saints & New Orleans Pelicans!!!!!!!!!!!!!Comment

Re: Splinter Cell: Blacklist
When I got the game this afternoon I fired up the campaign on realistic and knocked out the first level. My initial thoughts was that the level design was very nice and the game was flat out fun to play. I can see why it reminds people of some of the older games in the series.
I also got to do a little bit of co-op tonight and had a blast. There feels like there's a lot of meat to this game, and I can see this staying in my rotation for a while. Hopefully I get a chance to try out the spies vs. mercs over the weekend.Comment

Re: Splinter Cell: Blacklist
I was able to really dig into the MP last night, and loved it! I like the new game modes, 3v3, 4v4, but really like that you can play Classic mode, with the smaller amount of gadgets at your disposal, the classic green night vision with the classic night vision activation sound...good memories.
I kinda wish that within classic mode it was the same as Chaos Theory or Pandora Tomorrow in the fact that you went after to hacking terminals and then unlocked the next section of the map. It was kind of like Rush on BF.Comment
