Re: Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Wish I waited. Greatly disappointed with the Spies vs Mercs. I wish they would just give us Pandora tomorrow back.
I'm sure the campaign is solid, but for me to get a game just for the single player I like to wait for a price drop.
I need to see what the return policy is for gamestop.
Nows its run towards someone and hit X/Square to kill. Pretty stupid.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Re: Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Does this game have multiple endings? I can't seem to find that out anywhere. I watched Giantbomb's video on it that had what seemed to be a significant choice to make. Is it just something to affect later missions or does it actually change the story in some manner?Comment

Re: Splinter Cell: Blacklist
May pick this up in a day or 2. As long as the SP is good I'll be happy. Care less about MP.
And since it's been out a while and people are well into it...
The Deniable Ops from Conviction while I know is NOT in Blacklist.. there is something similar..?? Correct?Last edited by Skyboxer; 08-26-2013, 05:33 PM.Joshua:

Re: Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Along with that, you do missions for four different people that you activate through the map on board the Paladin. These are co-op missions, but you can play through them yourself as well. They range from pure stealth (get caught and it's mission over) to fighting waves of enemies while trying to secure intel. All of these missions go toward making money to upgrade your Sam in any way you want. I've been leaning toward a pure stealth Sam, but the option is there to turn him into a Rambo like Sam Fisher. Not really my style, but it's nice to have the ability to do so. You can also put the money toward upgrading the Paladin to unlock black market weapons, a radar for missions, and some other stuff as well. Very RPG style system in place.
I'd highly recommend the game. I've had a freakin blast, and my buddy has yet to pick the game up. Once he does, i'll have more to do playing through spies vs. mercs, and also going back through the co-op missions.Comment

Basically, there's the SP campaign that you'd expect, which has been quite good so far.

Re: Splinter Cell: Blacklist
I kinda agree with the point that the spies are overpowered in this title. There are plenty of times where i can just run around and throw flashbangs all day with my sonar goggles on, knife any opponent in my way and not for once even climb a ledge or hide. I usually play SVM classic since its more balanced i think. in my opinion some of the maps are too small for the 4 vs 4 modes so its almost like team deathmatch instead of hacking the terminals or retrieving intel. Overall though i still like the game.
ALso i need someone to play COOP withlol

Re: Splinter Cell: Blacklist
I suck at these coop missions. Ps3? Someone join me.

Re: Splinter Cell: Blacklist
The controls are frustrating me and there are too many instances where I feel I'm spotted and shouldn't be versus when I should be and am not. It makes the gameplay unpredictable. I also dislike games that make me restart missions one million times. It infuriates me.
And I suck so I know this is mostly on me. But it's pushing me to the edge of giving up on the title.

Re: Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Gamestop had a used copy in.. bought it.
At least now if I beat it and don't see much worth to keep playing it, I can take back for refund.Joshua:

Re: Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Got it three days ago, very good game. Really appreciate the love for offline gamers with the numerous missions that exist outside of the campaign. Pleasantly surprised. We are the music makers...Comment

Re: Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Really like the game. Only thing I hate are the dogs.
Reminds me of COD ....and anything that reminds me of COD gets docked a few "like" points.Joshua:
