    Re: Splinter Cell: Blacklist

same here, I have not played a Splinter Cell since PT (I loved it), but none of the others have interested me until Conviction, but I never got around to playing that one... this one looks to be a day one purchase for me.

Didn't want to buy GTA for just a couple months cause im hoping my 360 last that long and want to get something out of it before I switch to the One. This looks like it will hold me over GTA. Getting rid of all my 360 games when GTA gets here

Well after spending 5 levels in training mode I've become consistent with the controls and all I'm gonna say right now is this game is really good Spies vs Mercs is a fun as hell. You are always on the edge and adrenalin is always high. Folks with bad health stay away No disrespect intended

Black Ops players stay away. Its not that kind of party.

Scores for this game are dead on, its really good

Spies vs Mercs is awesome and from everything I am hearing they took the original and vastly improved on it.

                          Okay...

I know I said I was going to get this, but Kirk Hamilton of Kotaku took my adorable sniper filled cuddly teddy bear dreams and military tortured them with a nightmarish review...

                          http://kotaku.com/splinter-cell-blac...iew-1126859452

With every possible Ubisoft in-game cliche possible.

I realize IGN and Gamespot (amongst others) have been favorable, but EVERYTHING I HOPED THIS GAME WOULD NOT BE is deemed true in the above; by Kirk Hamilton, at least (whom I respect immensely).

$60 is not super easy to part with these days unless it's a no-doubt four-bagger. Any thoughts by those that have played it?

I was keeping up with this, but with a 6-7 hour single-player there is no way I'll buy this

You do realize every game of this type is only 6 or 7 hours long right ? That is the norm. You want a longer game, buy a RPG. This generation of gaming is all about online play, single player is always 6 or 7 hours long.

the last of us, dishonored, ghost recon advanced warfighter, red dead redemption/gta and many more games all disagree that single player is always 6-7 hours long.
