I still stand by the online racing being the best part of this game. I still play it.

      Is this game worth $10?
It seems that this game was a disappointment based on unmet expectations set by the developers prior to it's release.

I really didn't read anything about this game at all, so I'm wondering if I'd still have fun with it going in completely ignorant.

I purchased when it first came out and got about 15 hrs in before I decided to trade it in due to lack of interest.

I just picked it up again in the PSN sale a few weeks ago for 12. I am enjoying it in short bursts. I think the biggest issue with the game is just Ubisoft's repetitive formula. Especially having to unlock towers. Assassin's Creed, Shadow of Mordor (even though I LOVED that game), Far Cry, and now Watch Dogs. Gets stale after a while. The main protagonist in WD was hard to like as well.

I personally thought it was a great game and had a lot of fun with it. Played thru it twice and all of the DLC. I get why some did not enjoy it, but I did and think it is well worth a play thru. I even got into some of the Multi player stuff which is very rare for me to do as I am pretty much just a single player guy.

I liked it, definitely worth $10. Just take the time and explore the city, the people, the weather effects. It's great.

I'm trying to hold out on buying a bunch of new games so I bought this today for $8.00. I figure by the time I beat this Watchdogs 2 will be on sale for Christmas!

It's a fun game. I just LOVED the Gang Hideout side missions, as well as the Convoy side missions (though these could get frustrating a bit). I wasn't into the hacking at all, but found it pretty fun and easy. Overall, I liked it. And the vehicle selection is pretty nice!

                    Re: Watch Dogs

Played some WD1 yesterday. I love this game so much! Driving is awesome! The city is great and feels much more like a big city than in WD2. Criminal Convoy missions turning into chases after you take down the target - is AMAZING. Can't have enough of that.

The lighting effects, rain and atmosphere are so much better than in WD2.

Found this video...to remind us how great this game was!

So if you were to choose which is the better overall gaming experience...which would it be...WD1 or WD2?

Watch dogs 2 is more exciting but i run they messed up by removing the gang hideouts missions for example.

                          Re: Watch Dogs

WD2 has more things to do, more interactive world, a map that's more fun to drive around and better NPC system. But WD1 had the city feeling so much better, much more interesting atmosphere, much better weather effects, and better car physics/vehicle selection.

Definitely miss Gang Hideouts and Convoy missions. Chases in WD1 are AWESOME! Love the black gang vehicles, and the action is so great. I just reset the side missions and start them over every time I finish them - again and again. The random crimes popping on the map near you are just fine as well (or you can ignore them).

I can spend a lot of time walking or driving in Chicago in the rain, looking at the world, feeling the atmosphere. These are some things that, I think, are missing from WD2. Don't get me wrong, I loved WD2 from the moment they showed the first gameplay video (those of you who followed the WD2 thread know that half of the posts there must be by me). I find modern open world games like that hard to resist. But I do need decent car physics/car selection/decent size map and decent NPC system.

Both WD games have their advantages and disadvantages. I just miss some things from WD1.
