Re: Watch Dogs
23, thank you for sharing some shots of the game. It's pretty much what I figured on the visuals, it's going to look it's best on a high end pc, but both NG consoles visuals are no slouch either. Really I'm of the mindset that I enjoy games period, regardless of platform, and each has their own strength and weaknesses. And really there's nothing wrong with that.
Hope you enjoy the game 23, you lucky bastard!Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
I just played for awhile fooling around to get a gist of the controls and what you can do.
It has all of the whistles of open world games, car chases, upgrading abilities, side missions, weather changes, weapon upgrades, nice size unlockable map, etc, etc....
So if you've enjoyed this stuff in the past you will here too for the most part.
I didnt watch videos because i just wanted to see for myself and im glad because the way it started off I had no idea where to go and what to do but I like the kinds of games that train you on your feet how to use your abilities.
I love games where you can be stealthy so it satisfies that for me too. Some cool things you can do here and there so no worries about negative reviews or anything if they come, its enjoyable enough.
I also agree this is Watchdogs not GTA so please don't do that to yourself lol, and that's not a slight to watchdogs because it is its own game. I've never been to Chitown but I'd imagine they captured it pretty well.
The only thing I dont like so far is that during side missions if you dont complete it, which you certainly wont on the first try it makes you start all over...but that's not as bad as it sounds, its just something I would've had them to consider.Comment

Good points.... I can't believe you actually found a "Dislike". I still have not found what I don't like about the game just yet. I am sure I will once the honeymoon phase has run it course sometime tomorrow after I have gotten a few hours in.Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
Looks like it from the videos. Obviously some liberties taken to make it fit a video game, but it really looks like they captured the feel of the different neighborhoods. Can't wait for Tuesday to experience it for myself.Comment

Re: Watch Dogs
I turned the game off for awhile then back on. I'm doing my thing and some online hacker unbeknownst to me..... jumped in and started hacking my phone
The online hack option went back to yes automatically and I didn't know so I pulled a smoove move. I hop in a Rolls and punch to an area where there are a bunch of people. I smash on the brakes shreeeeeeeecchhhhhhh!!!!! And jump out like a boss looking for whomever it is.
The hacker hops a fence right in front of me without knowing and I took him right down before he could realize I was there.
I could imagine the oh shoot face he must've made when he saw I was standing right behind him lol
Let this be a lesson. 23 will come down swift and hard for invading his relaxation session when it's after midnight.
Check that option each time you turn the game on guys. No idea why it reverted.

People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

Re: Watch Dogs
Well they all do that. GTA did that with Los Angeles but they capture the feel of that particular neighborhood well enough.
Michael lived in the Brentwood area where OJ lived. Trevor in the desert Palmdale Lancaster area where you see what you see in the game although it's way more civilly built with tons of nice homes and franklin in the hood but no particular area...not even the projects were there lol.
Anyway I do think you'll enjoy this one regardless
